Door Installation Kit - Quick and Easy Door Hanging: No Shims Required

This made hanging a door extremely easy when using these! Fairly inexpensive for the amount you get and the amount of reduced time to hang the door.

Recently finished my basement and have been avoiding getting doors as I’ve never hung them before. After some searching, I landed on these to help and I will say, these made hanging a brand new door as simple as standing the door in the opening. The instructions are extremely simple to follow and the door swings perfectly. I’m about 30 mins I was able to install a door on my own. There are other versions of this in the market that tout a “premium” install because they add 4 additional brackets for the back of the door. This specific version only covers one side, but does offer instructions for a “premium” install. The main difference is you would need to order additional brackets. I would recommend this without a second though. The single sided install worked perfectly and without any issues.

I love this system. Had to replace a boatload of doors after Sandy. I'm NOT a prof. carpenter, just a fairly versatile D.I.Y.-er. This makes it so easy to hang a door it's unreal. A door takes me 20-30 minutes with a set of these, perfect alignment and mind-blowingly easy. A HINT ( my preference): Don't follow the directions. Simply screw on the 7 brackets where directed, then insert the pre-hung jamb (after you take the door off hinges), level the hinge side, screw in 3 brackets, level the top, don't screw, level the lock side, screw in 3 more, lastly screw the top. BINGO! Re-hinge the door and it fits every time (for me). NO SHIMS! How sweet is that? No shims at all. Molding goes up and people ask me who I had hang the doors. Freakin EASY! And, NO, I don't own stock in the company, but I hope they sell a million of these, just as long as they pay the engineer well who designed them.

This product really works well. The instructions and installment process is simple. I have never been able to fix a door in my home, which always seems to losen and rub against the door frame. Even after replacing the door hinge screws, the door still rubbed after a while of it being opened and closed. I first used these devices on a new door install, and it worked prefectly. From there I decided to use them for the previously stated door problem I had. For so far, the door closes with know issues. The design and the way you install this product leads me believe I will never have a problem with that door again. Great product. So easy to use, it's a gauranteed prefect install everytime.

I hung 12 interior doors (including 4 double doors) in about 16 hours. I have hung pre-hung doors before so I am not a novice, neither am I a professional. I was satisfied with the ease with which the job went. The man who is doing our trim work was impressed with the job I did. I did have to use a couple of shims to straighten out bows or other irregularities in the door jambs and had to run a couple of screws into a hinge or two to pull the door square. Essentially the door is held in place by the finish trim work and the EZ-hang brackets hold the door square and plumb until this is done. All-in-all I was pleased with the way the system works and would recommend it to anyone who has a couple of doors to hang. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is that I wished it had been made of a heavier gauge metal and were a little less bendable.

These clips make door installation much easier. I will be using them always now.

They work perfectly I will be using them all the time

This is a good product. I can definitely see how it could make hanging a door very easy. However, keep in mind that older homes tend to not behave. It is rare for studs and drywall to be plumb and level. I really wanted this to work because I could see the ease of it, butI couldn’t make it happen. I would have had to add an additional reveal to make it level with the drywall and at that point, might as well hang it the old fashioned way. So it didn’t work for me for this door, but I saved them because it may very well work on another door.

worked like a charm hanging a interior french door made it so much easier to make it shim and adjust

A bit flimsy for my liking, had to use different screws. For this price one should really get 14 pieces instead of 7.
