Amazingly non-stick, cooks quickly
I've had other non-stick pans, but this one is so much better than those, they don't even belong in the same category. I still use a little olive oil when I cook -- habit -- but I think that's not really necessary. Even when the food starts to burn, it doesn't stick. RE: food starts to burn -- this pan cooks so much faster, and at lower heat, that it took some adjustments to my cooking. This pan cooks well with about 2/3rds the amount of heat as my other pans, in about 2/3rds the time. Now that I've figured all that out, I hardly ever burn the meat. <grin> Cleanup is a breeze. I wipe the pan with a damp paper towel as soon as I put the food on the plate, just to get rid of the leftover oil, sauce, whatever. (Probably not necessary, but I'd rather throw that stuff in the trash than run it down the drain.) When the pan is cool, I set it in the sink, add a few drops of dish liquid, fill it with water, and let it set for a while. I go back later and use a dishcloth or paper towel to rub the surface of the pan with the soapy water, rinse, and it's done. There's been no scrubbing necessary. (Maybe if I burned something to a crisp, but I haven't done that.) I bought the 8-inch skillet for single-person meals (4 oz meat) and the 12-inch skillet for family-sized meals (1 lb. meat). I like them so much that I've just ordered the 11-inch flat griddle; I expect it'll make reheating leftover pizza much easier. These pans are absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend them.

Great pan!
Excellent non-stick pan! Got this one for when my OXO 12” was just too big for the job, and this is now my easy-clean-up favorite.

Good value
Very slick. Will update after more use. Seems great. Eggs slid around easily

What a great pan
I just recently purchased a stove with sensi-temp burners, and the old frying pan wouldn't work on it as it was too light and wouldn't sit flat on the surface. This one sits flat, pre heats wonderfully and cooks the food in no time. A wonderful addition to my set and my new stove. The food didn't stick at all to the pan and cleaning it up was a breeze. It has a 'great weight to it, the handle did not get hot. It's just an overall great frying pan. Would highly recommend this.

It’s a good pan
I bought this pan 5 months ago despite some rather silly reviews about the steel handle getting hot. I use it every morning for cooking my two egg breakfast and the handle has never gotten hot. I guess if you cook over a campfire or have a lit stove burner under the handle, it would get hot. I do use a silver dollar sized puddle of olive oil though because I like to flip my eggs rather than use a spatula. Flipping is hard to do without some oil. I only have it 4 stars because where I crack my eggs by the handle, it looks like some of the coating is wearing off slightly. Over all, it’s a great pan.

Multiuse skillet
I love this skillet! It's so durable, easy to clean and has so many uses and it's Cuisinart!! I gave one to my son in law for Christmas and he loved it and used it!! I had an issue with my oven and found I go "bake" 4 biscuits in it on the stovetop. Great skillet.

IF I could give it TEN stars, I would PLEASE read pros and cons to get the best experience
WOW. At 75, I have had MANY, MANY skillets like this. This is my favorite size because most often used. FIRST, PLEASE read the instructions. Only takes a couple minutes and I think will keep most from having any issues. Yes, there can always be an off item, but I am THRILLED with mine and expect it to last a long time. PROS: LOVE THE COATING - It works great (and I put it to the test with something that REALLY generally STICKS to any pan) looks great. I don't use any butter or oil in a pan and I don't need it. TOTALLY NON STICK SIZE is perfect for me, your mileage may vary. I'm cooking for one. CLEANING - IT EASILY cleans without any rough scrubbers. A soft sponge or cloth works perfectly. NOT CONS but things to keep in mind - THE PAN heats up FAST. AGAIN, PLEASE read the directions. Because of how it's made I don't put on HIGH heat nor do I need on high heat. I ALSO would hang it (I just wash and put back on stove as I use it alot). If you put with a bunch of pots and pans, it could easily get scratched. The coating seems very durable, but if metal meets metal (which is why I use a silicone spatula with it, never metal) reason says eventually it will scratch. BOTTOMLINE: BEST PAN I HAVE OWNED at ANY PRICE. Would DEFINITELY buy again.

Haven’t even had it a month and making simple scrambled eggs is already a disaster. I have left to soak overnight, gentle scrubbed, used gentle techniques I could think of to take care of the pan and nothing worked. Egg residue still remains. DO NOT BUY FOR EGG USE

Bought this to replace the same pan that I've had for more than 10 years. Love this brand. Came nicely packaged and is great for pancakes and French toast.
