I love these small dice. It makes me feel like I am on " Chopped", the Foodnetwork show. It really helps give your imagination a boost on new dishes to make. It is a bit challenging with this pandemic and being able to get all the ingredients needed but once you have your meal planned you can substitute items. It makes cooking a fun task. They are good quality wooden dice and really cute. Wonderful as a party gift (if we were allowed to have a party). I bought these for myself because I love to cook and bake. I would definitely recommend these if you want a challenge.

As a foodie, and just an ordinary meal preparer for my family, I thought this was a fun way to get the family to agree on what's for dinner, instead of the "don't care" but really-do-care conversations. I actually bought this for another foodie couple for their wedding anniversary and they liked the idea just as much as I did. The quality was very good, but a little smaller than I thought it would be. Not that that is a bad aspect, because I would want to be able to store it easily in an already full kitchen drawer.

Fun to try out. Use it occasionally.

I purchased these as a gift for someone who loves cooking but is sometimes indecisive about what they want to make. These dice are perfect! The bag they come in is about the size of a deck of cards and the dice are maybe 0.5"x 0.5"x 0.5". There are four seasonal vegetable dice (spring, summer, fall, winter), one for method of cooking (pan fry, etc.), one for grain/starch, one for spice, one for other (bacon, lemon, onion, etc.), and one for the protein. The protein one has a vegetarian option on every side as well. The dice easily fit in one hand and roll on the surfaces I've tested pretty well (carpet, wooden table). A very cute and fun gift for someone who loves to cook!

Want to make cooking dinner fun? This product is for you. Sometimes after my 9-5 job, my brain is just 'done' and it's hard to come up with a solid dinner plan. This bag of dinner suggestions makes it fun. Some of the ingredients are not things I'd normally keep on hand, but they're not obscure or hard to come by either. Go through the dice, make note of the products that will come up, and shop for those. Then, when you play the what's-for-dinner dice game, you will have the ingredients. You don't have to follow the suggestions of the dice verbatim, of course, but it's a great inspiration to get you thinking about food combinations that will work for your family. Plus, if you have kids, this would be a fun way to get them involved in planning what's for dinner. A fun product. Plus, the wooden dice look cute, too--I have mine out of the pouch, sitting in a small clear glass bottle with a lid on it. They look cute sitting on the counter in the kitchen.

Purchased as a gift for a family that loves to cook. They loved them and said they would use them often.

I like to buy handmade gifts through Amazon as I am an artist and I like to support others. This is a great idea and a great gift, but… It’s extremely small. For the price I thought we were getting much larger dice, something more of a gift. In the photographs that I looked at the dice look much larger, but in fact, they are about the size of regular dice and come in a very small sack about the size of a credit card. I recently bought yoga dice like this and they came in a very large circular box and they were much larger dice each one about the size of a quarter and they were only $16 compared to these at $25!! I truly thought that’s what these were. I have to give the gift in two days, so I don’t have time to return or else I would . The only reason I would is because the price compared to the size doesn’t match up. As I said theyre beautiful, and it’s a great idea, but if you’re giving it to someone else as a gift, not so much...the size looks inexpensive, and it’s not really presentable as a gift in my opinion. I would say a fair price for this item would be no more than $10-$12, and you’re still getting stocking stuffer size gift or something that you can attach to a bigger gift kind of like a gift tag, or something that you could put over a wine bottle might be a good idea. The size makes it look novelty. But if you’re spending $25 on it, you shouldn’t have to buy another gift to go along with it. I understand that homemade gifts are more expensive especially for artisans but in order to sell that on the Internet, you should be more specific with the sizing, because I honestly was not expecting this. It might have affected my purchase, I’ll be honest. I still Love them and the idea and think they’re great but I think buyer should be aware of what they’re going to receive since were buying online. And as I said, because I have to give the gift in a day and a half, I don’t have time to run out and get another present. I would still recommend to anyone who wants to buy I just think that buyer should be aware of the size along side of the price. You can’t give these as a singular gift in my opinion, you need to put them with something else. And don’t expect the price to match the size.

Bought these for a white elephant gift exchange and they were such a hit! Great for a foodie in your life, also makes trying new recipes fun!

These made a fun little gift for my secret Santa but they’re definitely over priced for a handful of tiny dice.
