Flattened Rice Flakes (Pawa) - 1.5kg

I purchased this product because I wished to prepare rice congee, which is a traditional, healing rice porridge that usually takes a long time to cook. Normally, you have to boil it until the rice liquifies, making the congee very easy to digest. Using these flattened rice flakes (poha), allows me to prepare congee in a fraction of the time, which works for my busy lifestyle. Flattened Rice Flakes (Pawa) - 1.5kg

I use this rice to make rice porridge. It cooks in less than 10 minutes and makes a creamy consistency, even though I use cashew nut milk instead of regular milk. A good product, but you do have to wait a few days for delivery as its not included on Prime at the moment.

I bought this without first checking just how much product I was getting. There's a tonne of it! Great for families in terms of cost efficiency. I used to buy this in supermarkets, but have been unable to get hold of any for a few years. It makes a far nicer (in my opinion) rice pudding than grain rice.
