Sometimes family, friends, and boys are flavors that just don't mix. A delightful tale of first love ... and macarons! When Lise Santos stumbles into a bakery's midnight taste test, she meets a supercute boy. He's as sweet as the macarons they share, and Lise is totally smitten. She's pretty sure he is, too -- but they never get a chance to exchange names. Now Lise has to find him again....When Lise finally discovers who her mystery guy is, he's not at all what she expected -- and suddenly they don't get along anymore! Things become even more complicated when her friend Viv starts to express interest in him. Now Lise's head and heart are all in a jumble. Can she gather the courage to admit her true feelings ... or is this a recipe for total disaster? Review: Scrumptious . - This book is a perfect read if you want to relax during summer break - and read a fantastic young adult romance. In the beginning the scene was set perfectly - young teen who didnt fit in at home with her new family, nor at school with her new peers. When she meets the cutest, sweetest boy ever, nothing could be better. until her dad shows up right in time to spoil her first kiss. therdefore leaving the two lovebirds never getting a chance to exchange names. before i spoil too much, i am going to end this saying I LOVE THIS BOOK. (almost as much as I love a macaron) Lol i crack myself up. anjyways, i recomend this book to an 11 yr old like myself :D Review: Overall amazing book!! - This book is amazing! It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time! This book is amazing for 11-13 year old's. Suzanne Nelson is a great author too! I have read a couple of books of hers, and they were amazing. If you like this book i bet you will like "Shake it Off" Buy this book you will LOVE it! Psst it also has recipes of macaroons at the end;)

Super cute story with Cinderella vibes
After having an embarrassing time at the Valentine's Day masquerade dance, Lise Santos decides to leave early and ends up finding herself at Swoonful of Sugar, a patisserie having a macarons at midnight taste test where she has an encounter with the cutest guy she's ever seen but she doesn't know his name; until by fate Lise sees him again and realizes he isn't what she expected. Super cute story with Cinderella vibes. As always Suzanne Nelson weaves a good, well-written tale that I really enjoyed reading, loved it!
