great mouse. bought a wired ps2 mouse to free up a usb port. fast delivery and great value. Will work on any windows PC or laptop... just plug and play...except windows 10.. for windows 10 you need to change a value in the registry... took me less than 2 minutes and the instructions to do it are easy to find on google. Now up and running.. works perfectly.

It is very easy to use

The mouse works fine. Needed to replace a lost mouse for an old PC and this did the job. The only reason for not giving 5 stars though, is that the red light remains on even when the computer is off. So it must be drawing power still? This means I end up unplugging it - and then if I forget to plug it in when I turn the PC on then the mouse driver doesn't register so I need to plug it in and restart the PC. Maybe it's an issue with the PC and not the mouse…?

A great little basic mouse ideal for retro computing My only annoyance is the LED illumination which stays on since the computer that I use it with supplies just enough power to the mouse, even when the PC is off, to power the LED illumination of the mouse. I have not found a way of disabling the illumination.

After years of trying to scrape away every hair from the little roller thingies on those old mouse controllers (the ones with balls) I've finally found an optical mouse that is compatible with my windows 98! That's all there is to it. It works! No extra drivers needed. Smooth. And the wheel works too; though you may need to adjust a few settings or something-- I can't remember. I can't tell you how many of my Sim Farm strawberry fields have been eaten up by bugs while I was furiously trying to get the dumb ball mouse to move! :'D No more!

Ottimo mouse per vecchi computer con attacco PS/2 . Avevo su un vecchio pc ancora un mouse con la pallina, questo fa assolutamente il suo lavoro egregiamente, semplice e funzionale.

Fonctionne bien pour une souris d'usage basique. J'ai ainsi récupéré un port usb monopolisé par une souris pas plus performante.

Es un buen ratón, sencillo y de los pocos que aún llevan conector PS/2. Ideal si dispones de algún ordenador antiguo que aún use este tipo de conector o para usarlo con FPGA's, o con un ZX Next o N-GO.

I bought this and the PS2 keyboard to go with my new retro Pocket 386 portable computer. Works great. Sadly, Windows 95 doesn’t use the scroll wheel. But it works in DOS 7.10 and Windows 95, so I’m impressed.
