Has anyone tried these extenders with a Schwinn 20 inch bicycle?

Yes I have used these extenders and they stabilize the bike and give better balancing of the Bike.

Im sorry, I honestly could not say for sure if these will work on what you described. I had the axel bolt measured and thought these (being the same measurements) would work- however they did not. So, to me it appears to be good luck situation.
