PROS: Looks, smells and tastes like brown sugar. I was very skeptical that it would be a match. I used the brown sugar mixed with cinnamon to fold into sourdough and it baked up like cinnamon sugar swirl bread. Turned out amazing and I could not tell it was allulose, nor could anyone else. Cookies came out good too. Allulose is a game changer for those with diabetes or sugar issues. Allulose does not spike blood sugar. Cons: it is expensive for the size you get but to not spike your sugar levels worth it!

I REALLY crave a brown sugar product that dos not leave a “cool” feel in your mouth, allows baked goods to get crispy/crunchy like brown sugar does, and TASTES good. Unfortunately, though I LOVE allulose the most of all the keto sweeteners, I don’t love this brown sugar one. I used it in my peanut butter balls (buckeyes) and it left an odd taste that was not present with regular allulose.

This is the absolute best and most usable option as a brown sugar replacement. Flavor is about perfect, works in almost any recipe with one awareness to use a little more than the recipe may call for as allulose is less sweet than real sugar. The ONLY brown sugar I will use is this one being 100% allulose and molasses extract. Nothing else in the ingredients, no impact to blood sugar, 100% safe and diet friendly.

Since I was a child, I loved brown sugar in my oatmeal. There is something extra that it adds that plain sugar just does not deliver. Now, in my 60s and since I'm limiting my consumption of regular sugar, I've discovered allulose, and I marvel at how close to sugar in taste it actually is. Amazing. And since finding out that brown sugar is mainly regular sugar with a little molasses, I've been making my own brown sugar substitute. However, I found out about this allulose-based premade brown sugar substitute and decided to give it a try. It is excellent. I used it to make my signature sweet potato pie this Christmas and found it to be delicious!

This is my third order of Allulose Parent (Brown allulose). The first wo bags rated 5 stars. The third bag was either faulty or the processing has been changed. The first thing that I noticed is that the granules are much smaller and the product clumps together. The original didn't do this. The original had no after taste or artificial flavor. This bag has a terrible after taste. It isn't too bad in baked goods, but the Bananas Foster that I made was so bitter I couldn't eat it. If this is the way this product is going to be, I will have to look for another brown sugar replacement
