Step by step guide to coding for young children - good resource
There is a newer version, and I'm sure it's more up to date That aside, as a newbie to coding and SCRATCH, I loved it explains different options and functions in easy to understand language and interesting illustrations and captions Good reference to have on hand.

Great book for kids who are into coding
Bought this for my 10-year-old son who likes to play in scratch but never knows what to make. He started working on a project right away and even started improving upon what the project taught him. Great book for kids who are into coding. He has now made three games and is always enthusiastic to show me what heโs learned and done differently.

Fantastic resource
Accessible, multifaceted springboard for working with students new to coding. By addressing animation, game creation, and art the book creates multiple entry points for learners. The perojects (example: spirals) can be easily extended into other subjects (example: geometry - angles of ejection of the spiral that are factors of 360 result in the spiral turning into radial axes of symmetry). A fantastic resource for more than coding.
