I used this wax on a new 20x15 Virginia Boys Kitchens cutting board and it worked beautifully! The tin was larger than I expected and after two coats on our large cutting board, there was hardly a dent in the wax. I can tell it's going to last us a very long time. I really appreciated that it came with a small pad for applying the wax, and that the pad can be kept in the tin. The scent of the wax is fresh and clean, and not very noticeable unless you directly smell it. It also didn't linger after applying it to the board. Overall this was easy to use and made our cutting board look beautiful. I recommend it and will repurchase once I eventually run out!

This stuff (and the finishing oil) are amazing! I have refurbed three cutting boards that were about to be tossed for the splitting and water absorbtion but now they are have new life again! The splits are still there but much less noticeable and the water just beads up on them again. I read reviews where others have used on furniture and I can't wait to give it a try for my kitchen cupboards. I love the ingredients beeswax, coconut and orange oils... all safe food items. No toxic parts! If you are reading this you obviously are interested... take the chance you won't be disappointed. Plus you can't go wrong with Amazon's return policy, but trust me you won't be returning it.

First of all it smells great! It is really easy to use and a little goes a long way. We make wooden party trays they have to be food grade which the product says it is. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we haven’t used any of the trays yet.

This is a great product with a very pleasant smell. It is easily absorbed into the wood and creates a beautiful finish. Love that it is organic since it is being used on a cutting board and serving platters.

This imparts a deep and elegant tone to the unfinished walnut. When you see this, you will want it on your furniture and floors. If you get a Virginia Boys walnut cutting board, by all means get this, too! Only takes a few minutes to apply and the results are luxurious, beautiful, and immediate.

We bought a Virginia Boys unseasoned walnut cutting board and used this wax on it. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the wax. It smelled very clean, fresh, and organic. I loved it! I was hesitant to spend $20+ on wax but after seeing how a little went a long way, I would definitely spend the money again. To cover an 11X17 cutting board, it took about 4 or 5 dips in the wax with the enclosed cloth. It barely made a dent in the wax. It's been a week since applying it and we haven't had to reapply yet. Typically a wax or oil absorbs quickly, especially the first coat, and you have to reapply almost daily until the wood won't absorb anymore. Not so in this case. I'm loving how long it's lasting. Our family is very conscientious about the products we let into our home, and this product meets all of our standards. We are comfortable, even happy, to use it on our cutting boards and food preparation surfaces. We highly recommend it. The attached picture is of the waxed cutting board and tin of wax one week after application.
