Listen I got this at a great price with prime free shipping. I couldn’t beat the deal anywhere. I had to get the bronze color and you know what it looks great! The finish is nice and durable, great color and great texture. I thought it would not looks as nice as black but to be honest I love it.It has three main parts; a base plate, a bracket and post. The plate screws into the wall through the studs, screws included. The bracket has two pegs that slide down into two tubes on the base plate. This allows the bracket to swivel one side or the other. It comes with two posts that you can use. If you can tell in my images, I needed the longer post for my massive Rocky Mountain elk. Not to toot my own horn, but toot toot. The post has two bolts and nuts to attach to the bracket. A series of holes allows for 12 different angles of the post.My struggle was that you really have to mount the base plate to the wall first. This means that while you can assemble the entire piece and then put your mount on it, it can be very tricky if you have a massive elk. If the post was too horizontal, the elk was facing too far forward almost slide off the post. If the post was too angled back, i didnt have enough distance from the wall to get the skull on the post. (The antlers hit the wall.). We ended up have the post and bracket together and into the skull and slid the whole assembly onto the plate at once.While that was a tad tricky, it looks great. Couldnt be more pleased with the quality. If an earthquake hits it might shake it off the post, but as long as no one grabs the skull or antlers, its plenty sturdy for this job.

I bought this to hang a big horn ram’s skull. I bought the skull at an oddities mart, but the vendor couldn’t tell me how to hang it. I searched for a while before I came across these mounts. I bolted it into a wall stud because the skull is heavy. The construction is solid and it was definitely built to hold heavy pieces. The skull rests on the mount at a great angle that seems secure. It hasn’t budged since installation. It holds the skull out pretty far from the wall—I’d say there 4 to 5 inches between the wall and the ram’s horns. It looks weird when you’re right on top of it during installation, but once you see it as part of the room it really accentuates the wild shape of the horns and skull. Very easy to install.

Very sturdy, unfortunately I haven't been able to use it. Took a very large bull elk last year, needed something sturdy and discreet to hang my euro.... Problem is, rack is too tall, even if I hang it in our addition that has 9' ceiling, the horns touch lid, and skull is low enough for dogs to get to. Soooo.... couldn't hang 🤨It will take a little time to get the mount on the pegs correctly, take your time and do it right. Once figured out, it will hold your trophy securely

Skull Hooker works very well, hung a 6X6 bull elk on it and was pleased with final result. Fully adjustable, and simple. Make sure there is adequate room, as it sticks out quite a ways from the wall. Price point is a bit on the high side, but considering the options for a great looking mount, this is the one to buy.

These are cool and work great to hang my skulls in my man cave. Kinda spendy for the small amount of material that makes these, but they work as they should.

I used this to hang my moose head. It was easy to install and once I found the right angle for the head it has been hanging with no fear of it falling. It is very sturdy and looks very nice in the wall.
