This was a great buy for the 2 big jars and thickness is where it should be. Help with the cleaning of the body where it needs to go. One of the better tasting fiber meds. that does the job.

I have had IBS-C for many years. Several years ago my PCP suggested I try Citrucel once a day to help prevent the cycling typical of my IBS. It has worked well for ME if I take it religiously once a day, every day. I buy the sugar free version. The 32oz jar of Citrucel is only a couple of dollars more than the 16.9oz jar so consider 32 oz if you really want to give it a trial run. Citrucel tastes like Tang and is a little tart for me so I add a packet of stevia sweetener to my tablespoon of Citrucel before mixing in 8-12oz of COLD water. It dissolves well - I shake it up in a capped shaker bottle.and drink immediately because it thickens fairly quickly. (I prefer a straw.) Sugar free Citrucel gets 5 stars for controlling the cycles of my IBS-C.

Seems to work just fine and has a nice taste. The other popular brand was not very flavorful but seemed to work well too.

I have been using Citrucel Sugar Free methylcellulose fiber supplement for years. Provides good regularity, without excess bowel movements or gas like other types.
