Very cute! It's very small so I took a picture next to my desk items for reference. The smell is subtle but strong enough for me in my cubicle. This will be perfect for when my coworker is in the office at the same time. They have horrible gas and let it rip at our cubicle all day. I don't want to get into trouble for throwing out accusations so I picked the path of least resistance. Thankful for this cute little diffuser.

The hedgehog arrived very well packaged in bubble wrap inside the box and inside the package. He is about the size that a cup of coffee would take up on your desk. I did not fill the resevoir completely with an essential oil but instead filled to about 1/2 way with water and then added a splash of the oil, maybe 15-20 drops. He lets out just enough of the scent so that you can smell it without it being too powerful. My office is maybe the size of a small bedroom. He is just right and a cute addition. He also gets darker as he absorbs the water and lighter when the water/scent mix is running low. I would buy it again and may purchase a few more as gifts. I tried at first with lemongrass but cannot wait to try him with Eukalyptus when my sinuses start going crazy in the spring!

Adorable but essence really doesn't go far when following their instructions. It only stayed around an inch away from the diffuser. It helped the essence spread further (about 10 Inches around the diffuser) when I added oil in the base AND added oil in the hedgehog's body, closed it with the thick string that was provided (to suck up the oil from the base), and re-assembled it. NOTE: the base is pretty big so it uses up a LOT of your essence oil....

I wanted something to add a little smell-good to my office space without using a wall plug in that would cover too much area. Bonus, this lil dude is also adorbs. I bought a 6-pack of essential oils from Wally World and away I went. I do not mix with water. The scent lasts about 2 weeks with his reservoir full of oils. The white of the ceramic changes color because the oils are being drawn up into the porous ceramic which emits the smell. Doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I find that when I notice he is back to a whiter shade, that means he has absorbed and released all the oil and it's time for a refill, so I find the discoloration a useful metric. Buy him immediately. Gift him to people you like.

very cute, good for gifting, but be aware that the scent does not travel far. Used a diluted essential oil as suggested in the instructions - actually went back and added a full strength essential oil without much more coverage. Good for a really small area.

Giving this to a college freshmen. Do not want to give electric diffuser or candle-this is PERFECT!!!!! Plus hedgehog is adorable-her favorite! I also purchased a cat!

This sits on my daughter’s desk. I don’t fill it with oil. I put about 10 drops of peppermint (for focus) and 10 of lavender (for relaxation) and fill the rest with water. This helps the scent diffuse faster and it hasn’t discolored the ceramic portion. It also means that the scent only lasts for a few hours in a small area, which is what I want, that we use a lot less of (sometimes expensive) essential oils, and that we can switch scents often. All in all, it works perfectly for her needs. It is cute, small and does what it’s supposed to.
