Ok.
Update: was DVR that caused failure. Reformated on computer and new DVR, working great now. I worked very well for several months. Not sure if it was the item or the d.V.R recorder that caused it to fail, but now the hard drive is useless. Not blaming the manufacturer as I don't know what caused it to fail, but truly suspect it was caused by the d v r recorder.

Great hard drive
Excellent . I just install it to my security Camera recorder and it was easy. I had to format it first then it started work. For the price it's reasonable. As well you get a one year warranty if in case it fail. I love it. Great hard drive.

Good value and a reliable Drive
I've used multiple of these drives in replacing system drives and cloning backup to system drives I've not had any of them fail prematurely this is a good value for this drive I recommend it

Got this to back our home security camera system. Much cheaper here than on ebay or in my local stores. Got in two days as well. So far so good

Good price, works, quiet, but...no mounting screws?
Works just fine for security cameras, but searched box in vain for 4 mounting screws to secure. Has 4 threaded holes on bottom of drive, why not include 4 correspondingly threaded screws???

Works!
Needed a quick fix for a failing drive in an old NAS. They worked well. Just wasn't able to change the odd name the drive reports.
