If I wrap this tape around some wires, will I be able to later remove it to expose the wires again?

The tape is difficult to remove. I first wrap the wire with a good grade electrical tape then the coax seal. If you need to remove the tape you can carefully slice thru the tape and the electrical tape can easily be removed.

Can this be for car roof ?

It depends on what you're trying to do. This tape adheres only to itself when it is stretched and wrapped back on itself, so it works best on round things like wires and pipes. You cannot use it effectively on just one side of a surface like a roof.

Will this work even when the pipe cannot be dried fully? Cannot completely shut off water access

You will probably not be able to get a water-tight seal on a wet pipe, especially if the water is pressurized. The tape sticks only to itself. You could try starting on a dry section of the pipe and then wrapping toward the leak and going past the leak to another dry section. Stretch the tape as much as possible while wrapping to form a tight seal and overlap about 2/3rd of the previous wrap as you move down the pipe. Try to keep the tape itself dry while wrapping - water between the layers will prevent the tape from fusing.

Will this work on expensive metal clothes hangers to prevent scarves from slipping?

It basically sticks to itself and you have to be very careful as once it touches…that’s it. It probably would work, but once it’s on….it would be VERY hard to take off.

Brilliant stretch tape

This tape made a brilliant final layer to the repair of hot tub pipe seams. It has great adhesion when stretched, can be stretched a lot, and has a good look when finished. The only caveat is make sure you have enough room around your repair so you can stretch and position the tape as desired.
