Is this better than the Cindy Lauper?

Well the Lauper showed her true colors -- excellent! Highly recommend!

Do your knuckles smash together with these pruners? Or is there enough clearance?

Absolutely NOT! These things totally rock. The mechanical advantage you get with them makes them go through thick branches like a hot knife through butter- even if you are a 5'1" 68 year old lady like me. I have their hedge shears, and they are so good, I bought these. I don't think there is a human alive that would bat their knuckles together with these. As shown, in the photo, the blades are closed. I love Tabor Tools.

Dear Customer, TABOR TOOLS scissors, loppers, hedge shears and saws are Made in Taiwan

What is the weight of the GG12 Tabor lopper?

For my ninety pounds it gets real heavy real fast but works SO good! Hubby loves it!
