Really efficient fan. First thing I’ve bought for a long time I haven’t had to d myself. And it’s quiet delivery excellent, driver used initiative and I’m very grateful.

This fan is a lifesaver. I use a mesh office chair, and work in a room that's often 5-10C warmer than the outside. By positioning this fan a few meters behind the air pointed at my back, I'm able to cool enough of my body so that I rarely feel uncomfortably hot even during these recent heat waves. At night, it's around 1 meter from the side of bed, set to minimum speed with oscillation enabled - this helps me not feel completely exhausted from the heat when waking up. I originally hoped this was a misting fan, but having use this for a few days now, I'm glad it's not. The hydration mode helps reduce sinuses drying out (especially when sleeping), but by not being a mister, it means that you're not getting massive drops accumulating on the surrounding environment (e.g. walls). It also means that you don't have to worry about any ultrasonic misting elements burning out due to lack of water (as is common with misting fans). I'll say that the ice packs don't seem to do much to reduce the temperature, but considering how effective it is without them, I'd argue that they're unnecessary. A better option would be to use 1L of chilled water and fill the remaining amount of space with ice cubes - that would be incredible if you are keeping your windows and doors closed and want to lower the ambient temperature of the room. Speaking of water, I can say that over the course of 8 hours, this fan uses approximately 1 to 1.5 litres during cooler temperatures (e.g. at night) and approximately 2 to 2.5 litres during warmer temperatures (e.g. during daytime). Essentially, filling it once per day is more than sufficient and you absolutely don't need to worry about running out of water while sleeping. One important note: If you are using the humidifier / hydration mode, you should ensure you refresh the air in the room at least every few hours as it's entirely possible to hit over 70% humidity if you don't. This could lead to mould growth and may make the room feel uncomfortable. Overall, an incredible fan, and highly recommended.

This is review after using it for half a day after being delivered. Nothing surprising about the packaging or quality of the product, which is good news. Usage was fine too. The most powerful fan setting is good, more than adequate. The timer setting works for the few times I tried. Noise is a little of a problem but soon I will not notice it. The air is cool not much cooler; using ice packs can cool a bit more. In a room with air temperature 26C, then putting the measurement in front of the cooler, with ice packs, after about 10 minutes, the reading goes down to 21C. A proper air-con will do better of course. In my case, this is far better than the "standing fan" now turned off, after almost 24x7 on the past week. Item is easy to move, does not feel heavy. Make sure you adhere to instructions in the booklet. No water leaks. I give 4 stars because the conversion of ice pack (to icy water) to air being blown out is a large distance of some 20C. If, instead of ice packs, I fill the container with ice cubes and fill the gap with cold water, would that lower the blown air temperature? The mechanism should not generate heat, since without the ice pack, the blown air is slightly cooler. I am happy I got this unit and a bit more ready to face the summer months. Hope it looks forward to lots of work as much as I hope it will deliver.

The product arrived well packed and was very easy to get working. .Two freezer blocks were also supplied to cool the water in the reservoir. The cooler can be operated from the buttons on the top, or via the supplied remote control. The reservoir holds 5 litres of water, so it can run for a a good long time before needing refilling. The only fiddly bit was unclipping the pump from the reservoir when you want to totally remove the reservoir for cleaning, the clip is quite stiff to operate. However the Netta device does perform well with a fan that can oscillate, as well as vary the air speed as required. I found it very effective during the heatwave in July25.

Not worth the price, check the price history using amazon price tool before buying. Lots of similar ones are available for lower price. Returning the item is also not easy as its not sold by amazon.

We are pleased with the cool fan. It has lots functions to suit your individual needs. It is probably a little noisier than a normal fan but certainly not annoying. It is more powerful than any fan we have ever had but also is much cooler and never gives out warm air on its normal function. It definitely is cooler when using the water and it is so refreshing when your in the same room. It brings our dinner/living room down by 2 degrees , ever in the highest temperatures. We can highly recommend this product, it is well made and is an excellent buy for the money

The fan is really good and quiet. The air cooling function works well but I hadn’t anticipated the extent of the humidity it would create (obvious in retrospect!). If like me you have to keep windows closed due to pollen then this might not be a great solution for you. If you can have a window open, even just a bit, the humidity is probably not going to be a problem. I would say also be aware of the upkeep - if the fan/cooler is off for more than two minutes and you have water in it, then you must change the water before starting the air cooler up next time. Also the water needs to be emptied out completely and the water receptacle cleaned every three days. I now use this as just a fan and it’s definitely much better than the previous fan. The customer service is terrible - 12 days ago I asked Netta to confirm that the one year warranty was automatically activated by my purchase and despite chasing, have had no response to this straightforward question (the manual states if you buy directly from Netta then it is activated).

This fan is a great alternative to spending a lot of money on air con, this is the second one we have purchased, first one in 2021 and still going strong with a little bit of maintenance, at the end of summer I clean out the sponge in the water pump and soak the big blue filter in a sink of diluted bleach to kill any bacteria it has pulled in, and I have purchased a fish tank filter sponge for the bottom reservoir to stop the dirt going back into the tank and clogging the pump, we have a large fridge in the garage with 5l bottles of water and with the ice packs it certainly cools down the room, a wee tip though is if your using the water cooler is to sit on a folded dish towel as the water sometimes drips from the blue filter onto the floor till it gets soaked, the remote is also handy for controlling from bed,
