Surprisingly good.
This little knife is kind of dope. I put it in my wish list for Christmas so that people would have stuff to get me, and when it showed up I was surprised how much I liked it. The blade came pretty much razor sharp, and the crossbar lock works nicely. It’s small and light and fits right in my pocket. And I like the carbon fiber. Overall, 10/10, would buy again. My only complaint is that it’s got a hole in the blade, which I have decided I don’t prefer, but that’s really a question of taste and doesn’t change the function of it in any way.

It Disappears In Your Pocket.
If you want a small, extremely sharp knife with a premium steel that weighs next to nothing, this is the knife for you. Ten years ago I purchased the original (it was called "The Access Card" back then). It weighed over a half an ounce more than this one, and I literally carried it everywhere, every day. With the carbon fiber scales, and S35VN steel, this model is quite the upgrade. The access lock opening mechanism works flawlessly; but the blade is ultra thin and light, so it's not something that flies open with your typical wrist flick. And while I wouldn't use it to break down cardboard all day, it's nevertheless nice to have a good cutting tool, especially on those days when you don't feel like carrying around a beefier knife.

Super light and sharp
An excellent choice for a light use pocket knife. Definitely not a go to edc but fun to carry as a secondary or if your wearing just shorts. If you want thin and sharp its the one. Unbelievably sharp out of the box. I have many more expensive knives that are not this sharp. The gold holds up like TiN does on all other things. It fades and wears down eventually but patinas kinda nice actually. I like a worn knife eventually

This is a real fine knife
I bought a gold version for my son as a present. I was unaware he had sent me a gray version as a gift. When I received mine I couldn’t believe how light it was. This thing was lighter than my Benchmade bugout. The fit and finish was first rate and the knife was one of the sharpest out of the box that I have ever seen. I own several hundred knives and this one is at the top of my favorites. After a couple of days playing with mine I ordered a gold version for myself. I was afraid it was going to look tacky but after listening to my son go on and on about how much he liked his knife and how good it looked I figured if I didn’t like it my grandson would get it. Well, the boy is going to have to wait for his. The gold isn’t tacky at all and looks real high end. If you want an amazingly thin, light quality knife this is it.

Expectations vs Reality
When I saw this I was very intrigued. A super slim lightweight EDC knife sounded great. What I got was pretty disappointing. The main issue with what I got was that there was a chip on the blade. I get that a small chip might not be a big deal but brand new out of the box, for the price that it is, and the company that it is I wouldn't expect this quality. Now this was probably a one off occurrence. Unfortunately for me Amazon didn't have another to replace it with so i had to return it. Now for what i thought about it out of the box was it was very light weight! It looks great and pretty sure would be a nice one to carry on the reg. It was a little stiff to fold out but probably after time it would loosen up more. The edges seemed a little sharp/unfinished which made holding it not as comfortable on top of the size being different than most knives. I feel like after a little bit you would get use to it. If you want to try something different I would say go for it but if you're use to normal/bigger knives this might take some getting use to.

Excellent, thin and extremely sharp
This is an awesome night. It has to be the skinniest knife that I have ever had and it is extremely sharp. I highly recommend it. I actually also love the SOG brand.

Overpriced Box Cutter
I bought this thinking it was going to be awesome bc of the weight as well as the blade steel and the axis lock technology. I love the brand, and thought I would love this knife. It was light and looks are amazing, and deep carry pocket clip. But the thinness of the blade was questionable when it came to wanting it for thick boxes or anything plastic and thick as a trash can. There’s no liner in it, so the thin blade runs on the ultra thin handle. The handle is carbon fiber, so I know that’s tough, but left me questioning if I could use this repeatedly on boxes all day without damaging the knife. The ability to fidget with it too was very hard bc it ran on the handle and didn’t really open and close smoothly and fluidly. Awesome concept, maybe when they come out with a second gen, there will be a design overhaul, and it’ll be a little better for what I thought the price would lead it to be. For 40-50, maybe, over 100, not a solid enough build and usefulness. Great for someone who just needs some protection on a late night run bc there’s literally no added weight to you pants and it’s clip is very nice and snug. Love SOG, hands down, just not this model for me.

Practical, and a Great Knife
So, I was going to return this knife, but this kife is really great for being in a new city where you basically need a money clip. I used it to carry ID and a CC, and it works great for that. Will I EDC this knife, no, and in fact, I also carried a Gerber 06 tanto auto with it, but it was a nice combo for being in a new city, and not knowing what to expect. I think this is a very good knife when you want to keep a low profile, and probably also have another knife, but the money clip part is very nice. Also, it's super sharp, so if it had to be used it would fulfill its duty, but I would consider this a backup knife, or a money clip/knife when you're in a new area. It's very lightweight, yet sharp, subtle, and gold lol; so you really can't go wrong with the combo. I will not be returning this knife.
