How do you trim the nail

To remove the ingrown nail, use this product to soften the nail for 4-6 days. Then, use a set of nail clippers designed for ingrown nails - you'll see them in the "also viewed" or "similar items" sections in this listing (they look like pliers, not the little folding clippers) to remove the nail. Cut the side of the nail off from top to bottom - you have to go deep, otherwise, you'll just be making a sharp edge to help it dig in further and it will become worse. Depending on how bad yours is, it might be easy or it might take some painful digging. If it bleeds (it probably will) be careful about cleaning and bandaging and watch for infection.

Does this actually help your ingrown toenail or it is only for pain relief of ingrown toenail?

It is pain relief but softens overgrown skin so it can be slowly be taken off and nail is softer so you can aso work with It. You can trim off the ingrown parts. Takes patience but worked for me twice on different toes.

What are all of the ingredients?

I don't know what the ointment is made of. I do know that it needs to be applied as directed for several days so the nail will soften and then can gently be pulled away from the skin.

Beleive me it's awsome product comes with lot of additional taping .I initially felt it expensive was about to cancel my order. I would have regretted . My toe recovered just with one application. Do dip your toe in hot soapy water in between to lesson initial severe pain.

The gel had a strong smell, but I left it on the ingrown toenail for 6 hours, and the nail softened enough to cut with toenail clippers without pain. Time and money saver.

This stuff totally works. Don't ever go to the doctor and have them take off your toenail. There's a big chance it will not grow back. Just put this stuff on your ingrown toenail several times a day or three or four days and you will literally be able to pick it out with your own fingernail. Pain free 100%
