Monks Cloth for Punch Needle Fabric Tufting Cloth for Rug Making 2 by 1 Yard

I got this to go with a secret Santa gift for a crafts person. They are really into punch needling. I took a look at the fabric and thought it was high quality I asked her and she confirmed that it did seem like high quality. Also the fabric is not too loose or spaced. So doesn’t seem like it would create giant holes with thicker needles. like other pieces of monks fabric. I definitely recommend.

I usually use the Monks' cloth with lines. I thought I'd try this for a change. I haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it will be fine.

It was delivered fairly quickly. I am learning to tuft. It was exactly what I expected.

Cannot be used for Swedish weaving! My very first stitch and it was ruined.

Over this past year, I have been trying to find out which of my old hobbies and which new ones that I can still do. My arthritis has taken over so many of my abilities. I have found that surprisingly I can still do latch hook rug making. I love this monk's cloth with the line markings to make sure I am not going off my design. I am collecting yarn as well as ideas for how I want to use this fabric. I have seen some amazing 'rugs' that have been made. I hope I have at least 10% of the talent that I have seen in the rugs online. Everything takes me so much longer to get to and use. But I think I now have all the supplies that I will need for rug making at this point. Now to finish a lot of other unfinished projects. so I can get to doing rug making. I know I still need to be able to do my arts and crafts as it is so good for my well being. I refuse to be a couch potato. I appreciate the opportunity to try this out. Thank you.

The weave is so tight. I do Swedish Weave / Huck weave and this monks cloth is totally unacceptable. I won’t be buying from Facebook ever again.

I'm just starting out with needle punching rugs, and this fabric works great. I will probably buy more from here when I run out.

Good size, feels like good quality! Feels soft and the holes are good size for punch needling. When I take out my punch needle to fix a mistake I can resmooth it and it looks like it was never touched! would order again
