Why does this tuna no longer have the (non gmo) label on it. Is this the same tuna or not?

Apparently it no longer qualifies as non gmo.

do the cans have tabs to open I don't. have a can opener?

NO !! The cans of TUNA that I received do not/did not have opening TABS. A strong can opener is suggested.

Why, oh why, is the sodium count so high (300 mg per pouch). You can do better, can't you?

My pouch says 230mg but you are right, it is 10% of the daily sodium value. I have Type 2 diabetes, so I was concentrating on the 0 carbs feature. Thanks for making me aware of the sodium content.

Experation date is around what?

I did not buy the can that is pictured. During this winter's snow and ice storms, I bought the healthy packets. They are very convenient and, as a diabetic, I like that they have 0 carbs. The expiration date on the packages I bought is April 2016.
