Grain-Free Dog Food, Small Bites, Made with Chicken and Peas, 5LB, Dry Dog Food

My two miniature schnauzers do very well on this dog food. We started them on it after we researched grain free dog foods that are good for dogs with sensitive stomachs. We had a hard time finding a dog food that sits well with our older miniature schnauzer who is 3 years old. We have tried almost every brand of dry dog food from large chain pet stores, but he has always had bad gas and soft stools. We wandered into a local small shop pet store one day and picked up a sample of Nutrisource. We mixed it with his old food and after a week his stool was much firmer, he threw up less, and no more gas! We were really surprised at how well he reacted to this food. We went back to the store and picked up the larger 15 lb bag, and he's been on it ever since. So far this is the only food that sits well with his stomach. We recently adopted a miniature schnauzer puppy and she is also on this food with no problems whatsoever. One thing to note though is that I did notice they tend to gain weight rather quickly on this food, so we rotate it with another dog food brand called Fromm. Both excellent brand dogs food that don't irritate our dogs' stomachs. The small breed dog food is technically the exact same thing as the regular grain free version, but with smaller kibble (same protein, fat, fiber, and ingredients). Since Amazon doesn't sell the regular bag, we buy this one and our dogs still love it. Our dogs weigh 15 lbs and 13 lbs and do very well on this food. Would highly recommend for dogs with sensitive stomachs! This dog food has been a hit with my dog. He eats it every day without hesitation, which gives me peace of mind knowing I’ve found a reliable food he enjoys and will keep coming back to. The small bite size is perfect for him, making it easy to chew and digest. I also recommend transferring the food to an airtight container once the bag is opened to keep it fresh for longer. Overall, this has become a dependable staple in my dog’s diet, and I’ll definitely keep buying it.

a bit smelly but has very good ingredients

My Oliver, a Bichon-Frise has been eating this breeder recommended food since he was 10 weeks old. We love NutriSource, he has no eye staining, healthy skin and coat and his sensitive belly does great with NutriSource. The only issue I do have is it is not sold local in my town. Currently , my dog has no food!!! despite the face that I placed my original order on Oct 19, 2024. First Third Party vendor waited weeks before saying NutriSourse was not in stock. Placed second order Nov 9th, due to delays and damages in shipping have left us without his food. The vendor states it would be here by Nov 19th-it was at one point "out for delivery". Then something else has happened: No food on Nov 19th. I will be finding another vendor outside of Amazon for my next order.

Best ever dog food

Used to enjoy, no matter how I fixed the bag the food would spoiled after two weeks. I have a small dog so he completes in a month. It’s becoming to expensive, he still likes the taste when it fresh.
