Retroworks Authentic Project Mc2 Secret Message Decoder Ring

I ordered one a few weeks ago for our son. I was so happy with quality (even the packaging was an eye catching design). So, I ordered one for our son's cousin so the two boys can send letters to each other in code. GREAT gift idea. I purchased from Retroworks selling here on Amazon from this link at the time of this review. This seller shipped quickly. I was happy with this purchase, and as long as the price of these rings stays reasonable, as they are now, I would continue to reorder for our son's friends' birthdays in the coming year. Thank you!

We gave 3 of these to our daughter for a gift and she's had fun gifting them to friends she wants to share secret messages with! They have fun wearing and figuring out what the other person is saying. The quality is high and the rings are really smooth inside which make them very comfy to wear.

Got a pair for twin relatives as a gift. Very well made. The stainless steel was too hard for several local engravers though. The cipher is scrambled, not A=1, B=2, etc..., but each ring apparently has the same scramble which makes a pair of rings as a gift possible. The size 6 ring means the numbers are a little hard to read in the viewing window. The craftsmanship is such that the different numbers are still distinguishable by a person with good vision or a magnifying glass (adding to the spy/fun factor for a kid). Very happy with this purchase!

This decoder ring is of good quality & slides well to reveal the codes. However, we purchased the larger of the 2 size options & it is still too small for my 11-year-old to wear. He still uses it though.

I bought a bunch of these to give to everyone in the under 10 crowd in our family. The cousins are spread all over the country, so this is going to be an awesome fun way for them to keep in touch. I included stamped envelopes with each gift because, let's face it, letter writing is kind of a dying art. The only downside I saw to these is the opening for the number above the letters. I thought it was a little too small and hard to read, however, all the cousins with their young eyes had no problem at all.

A really fun toy for kids who like solving puzzles, spy play and history. We bought this for our 10 year old son while studying The American Revolution and George Washington’s spy ring. Fun for homeschool lessons as well. Good for all kids. Gifted children enjoy cyphering.

Fit perfectly, well made and I found it easy to use and read the numbers and letters. One critique, I wish A would have stared with a different numeric value, but that is not a big deal.

i bought 2 of these for an 11 year old girl as a gift. She gave one to her best friend, and now they have developed their own communication. it is awesome, and she loves it.
