No, this original Wettex cloth, is produced in Sweden and has a striped pattern on the back. The cloths with diamond pattern is produced in Germany and sold by distributors under different names.

Do you sell wettex in eco-friendly, compostable packaging? am i'm seeing plastic wrapping on each individual cloth?!?

The packaging consists entirely of degradable Bioplastics (Plastic materials produced from renewable biomass sources) and can be composted.

Do they get the sour smell after useing them all the time

Yes the can smell sometimes, but after using them a week or so, you can either wash them in a washing machine in 140 degrees Fahrenheit, or put them in the dishwasher and they smell fresh afterwards.

Are these the same as Swedish sponges ?
