Harry Potter Adult Female Death Eater Costume

Bought this for my wife to wear to a costume party, and it held up great. Construction was better than expected (I read other reviews and we were worried it might not hold up). It held up good enough for us to attend three different parties; one being a kids' party where we jumped out and scared people in a haunted yard. It held up great, still looks good as new, and fit perfectly. I'm not sure if the manufacturer changed materials or what, but it was much better than I read on other reviews. We bought a curly wig and the Ballatrix costume was a smash hit.

I want to leave a review to help people out. I'm 5'7, 175 pounds, size 14 and my hips are 45'. I ordered this costume because I had no other options and by the reviews I read here I was afraid it wouldn't fit me, I was afraid the standard size would be too small. It fits perfectly. I'm so happy!The dress looks like black velvet and the belts/leather details are not shinny and do not look like leather. It's more like a sponge belt. They are ok though. It's not as bad. The mask is really nice! Overall I'm happy!

The design is quite hard to put on! it is somewhat adjustable to size and it looks good but it was a bit small.

The dress was torn and falling apart!

Purchased for Halloween costume party. The dress is pretty cool and fits well, but required modifications. We purchased a separate cummerbund, per what was recommended by others. The one that's attached is pretty lame.The worst was the mask. It's made of a rubber material and comes folded and misshapen. We tried to reshape it with a blow dryer, but that didn't really work that well. The smell is toxic, so we tried to get it out with baking soda and soap mix (found the process through a google search), which definitely helped. However, the mask ended up causing a rash on my daughter's face, so she never wore it.

The corset isn't what I expected; a little cheaper than I thought it would be, plastic wrapped over sponge, so after I wore it and put it in storage, the shape went out of it so I haven't been able to wear it since, but for a one time product? Brilliant.I wouldn't suggest it for a fancy dress party during the summer, because the dress is very heavy, but I wore it for Halloween and it was cold enough outside that I stayed a comfortable temperature. It fit great and looked great and the mask didn't hurt my eyes or nose like some masks do. So, 5/5.

BUY YOUR OWN CORSET!!!!!! The one that comes with the costume is foam and no way cute. Also on the sleeves there's lace, but you have to attach them yourself and no directions . It was really fustrating trying to lace it. Overall it's worth the price, I got it for a Bellatrix Lestrange costume. So the one I bought Is "standard size" and I'm 5'6 145lbs I wear normally Large in clothes and it fit perfectly.

Even just the mask is great. Dress is form fitting.

The item came damaged; the mask was broken so totally unwearable. They did give me a part refund and the dress was absolutely fab.
