Fisher-Price Thomas Railroad Rewards Potty, Thomas The Train

Once the package arrived our son was ecstatic at the thomas potty. He actually thought it was a toy at first. But within 1 hour he figured out it was much more, especially with the noises it makes. Long story short our son has officially gone pee pee on the potty for the first time ever and this product actually makes a choo choo sound when liquid hits the sensors. What a great way to get your child to potty train. I wish I would have bought this earlier. Definitely would recommend to parents who want to potty train sooner and with something that rewards your child with sounds from thomas theme or choo choo sound. Awesome product.

we've had it for 4 months i think- it works great! our son is 22 months, average size (literally in 50th percentile)- so he's about 26lbs... don't know his height. you have to sit them in the right spot so they don't pee on you- reading the other reviews, that's what i got from it. and he's never had a crazy pee accident. the sounds are great and super sensitive so any little bit of pee- he gets music or a choo choo. so far- we love it. great trainer.

Very cute and well made! My toddler got so excited the first time he used it and heard he familiar toot toot of Thomas' engine. He has gone number 2 in it a few times only and I do have to say that is quite disgusting to clean, but hey that comes with the territory right and at almost 3 we were getting desperate to find a driving force for him. Wonderful and fast shipping on amazons part and for once, they're availability and price out eat any local store here in Utah!

I am so happy we bought this. I had been trying to potty train my 2 yo for awhile w/ absolutely no luck, he hated the whole idea. We bought this and the DC Superheroes potty time book and superman underwear and he was right on board then! I was just going to wait until his third bday (9 months away) to start but this stuff arrived and right away he wanted to try it. I have family who said their boy (about the same age) had a noise making potty and their son just turned it over to make the noise, so I trained my son to think the ONLY way it worked was if he went in it. I said he would brake it if he turned it over or put toys in it:) Surprisingly it worked well and he has done so great! He loves the book we got too so the combo was perfect. The only thing I don't like is the noise has started going off when nothing is in it so we just keep it off now. Which is fine, he has been trained w/ no accidents for over a year now. I had to teach him to "hold it down" so it wont spray everywhere but hey, he's a boy and I know nothing about that whole 'method' for guys so whatever works and keeps me from cleaning it up everytime is fine. This potty is the best for little boys who like train sounds. I have and will recommend it.

So the pros for this seat: - For the first few days, the song is plays when you pee in it would get him excited and was a little motivating factor - The song was nice as a indication for me that he had, indeed, done his duty. - It's cute, for a Thomas lover - Can be used as a step stool for the sink Cons: - The sound stopped working after a few weeks - The seat is annoying to clean, he would often get pee on the red part and the white part, so even more cleaning every time - If there was an accident and the blue part got dirty, it was a REAL pain to clean - In hindsight, probably more expensive than it's worth. All in all, I probably wouldn't spend the money on this again. The basic cheap Summer Infant potty seat was much more functional (put some stickers on it to make it more fun).

I bought this potty almost a year ago but my son just started using it. He loves it! I have had no problems with any leakage however he is three and is able to aim very well. It does have a pretty small hole for going number two. I can't really say how well it works for that since my son insists on going number two in the big toilet (lucky me 🙂). he loves the music it plays and is able to use it without any assistance from me which makes things easier and gives him some independence. Only problem I've had is that the song and whistle sometimes play for no apparent reason. Especially at night...I've actually shut it off on several occasions because of the creep factor lol

I had concerns buying this based on some of the negative reviews, but I have been very happy with it. It is sturdy and the front guard is well-positioned for a boy. The top red-colored ring and white pan remove for easy dumping and cleaning. The train noises come from a speaker underneath and can be turned on or off. The first time that my son used it he was surprised by the train noises, so we turned them off and have yet to turn them back on, but they seem great.

Just like the poster above, "unless he holds his peepee down the whole time the urine gets in between the red seat the pee catcher and comes leaking out the front. We had several cleanups cuz of pee getting on the floor." My son took a LONG time to want to potty train (I bought this potty almost exactly a year ago and he just got it down this week, but we weren't pushing it). Now that he is using this potty every time he goes to the bathroom, I sadly see the flaws in the design. Since the red seat is separate from the other parts, even when he holds down his penis as far as he can, it goes right between the two pieces. My son likes to go in privacy so I couldn't understand why I was having to towel up a sopping floor EVERY TIME he sat on the potty. This morning my husband watched what he was doing and confirmed that he is actually doing everything right, it still just goes right out the front between the crack. Im bummed, I really like the look of this potty (my kids love Thomas) and it is very sturdy and the sounds are all working. But a potty is no good if the pee goes all over the floor! I'll keep it for when my daughter is ready to potty train, but its not great for boys, which Thomas the Train is aimed for.

Easy to clean, small and portable, my son loves the noises that it makes. Definitely handy for potty training!

Trop bien ! La musique du pti train quand la commission est faite est super ludique pour les enfants . Ils en font un jeu d’aller au pot juste pour entendre la musique . Il fait réducteur de toilette et marche pied aussi donc niquel

My son is nearly four and he was refusing to use the potty. Thinking that the old small plastic one I used for my other children was too uncomfortable for him, I asked him to pick a new one. This is the one he chose, and it actually worked! He was trained in less than a week. I love this potty because it looks appealing, it is really easy to clean and it can be used in so many ways. I've taken the red part off and used it on the regular toilet too, which is very handy, especially if you need to go out of the house. I can not recommend this potty highly enough. It was so worth the money! The only small part that I could complain about is that the sound effects don't seem to work so well. But my son didn't complain. This is a winner!

I loved the IDEA of this item when I ordered it but was disappointed when it arrived. Its not worth the extra money, honestly. The bowl is too small, it should be wider/bigger - like normal potties. My 2yr old boy will get some wee in the potty and some out of the potty almost every time. Also i was hoping the music would be louder than what it is. When my little on is sitting on the potty and does his business you can hardly hear it. I was a bit disappointed with my purchase, if im completely honest and it definitely wasnt worth the money. Im am sorry to write a bad review, I am just being honest.
