I gave the kids in my class a choice -- wooden blocks or that other popular brand of plastic blocks. They chose these and when I dumped them on the floor -- there was complete silence in the room as they started to build their own castles and cathedrals. The children ranged from 3 to 5 and each one was so absorbed with these blocks, they didn't want to leave when class ended. These blocks are very nicely designed. They come in individually-wrapped bags -- sorted by shapes. The container is quite sturdy and serves as a great storage carton. The lid has cut-out shapes so the kids can insert the blocks by shape. I didn't think they would bother with this but several were fascinated by inserting the blocks through the lid when clean-up time came around. This set is wonderful. Serves as a great playtime activity and also as a teaching tool, too. The blocks are cut well and are very stable when building towers. You won't be disappointed in choosing this set. Everything about these blocks is quality.

So far these are the best blocks I was able to find. They are just the right size and weight, and have a diverse set of shapes. Other blocks were either huge and heavy or too tiny. I've chosen the plain set, because I don't want to deal with paint coming off. Some sides could have been better sanded, but there are none that are a hazard. Overall the best set out there.

These are so fun! They are solid wood and will last forever. I got a set for my son and then got another set for my niece because I loved them so much!

Love the toys.

These blocks are, in general, well-made and nicely designed. The colors are bright and kid friendly. The finish is smooth, and they come packaged in a sturdy paperboard container with a handle. My 4-year-old son loves them. Unfortunately, about half of the natural wood cuboids (the flat 3D rectangles) in our set were warped so they don't lie flat, which makes it hard to build with them. A little disappointing but not a big problem, which is why they still get 4 out of 5 stars.

My grandson loves these blocks. They inspire his creativity and provide him with hours of fun. I like the colors. Bright and cheery. And there are tons of different shapes and sizes to build anything he can imagine.
