2000 Explorer Gets New Lease on Life
Gas engines work great, until they overheat and seize in a moment of glorious destruction. Luckily for me, I saw the telltale signs of eminent pump failure and got this Parod Water Pump replacement in time. To the Point or TL;DR Fits 2000 Ford Explorer LTD V6 4.0L engine like a glove, Get a better gasket, Good quality finishes, No blemishes on mounting surface, Way cheaper than local box store, Hope it last. The Good Stuff This is a excellent replacement for my OEM pump that was failing. Mated perfectly with all bolts, clutch fan bell, and belt. I opted for the upgraded FEL-PRO 35474 gasket like some others because I didn't want to do this twice. Have run it hard since install and there are no signs of leaks and temperature is right where it should be. The Bad Stuff None to date, but there is the joke about the guy that jumps from a roof and as he passes each floor people ask how it's going, and he replies "so far, so good". Me Final Thoughts Always nice to find a quality part to keep these older vehicles running, plus for me, its an opportunity to share and bond with my kids while teaching them a little something about the world. Works, ditch the gasket
Water pump works for 2005 Ford Ranger 4.0 SOHC, but toss the gasket it comes with; buy a Fel-pro or other trusted gasket

Absolute waste of a purchase.
Water Pump failed a month after professional installation. You get what you pay for, so basically you're buying garbage if you buy this Water Pump.
