Bought these for all three cars and couldn't be happier; should have done it long ago. They are easy to install, sit flush on the mirror, and provide a perfect view of the blind spots; work exactly as advertised and intended. Real glass, so it's worth spending a few dollars more than the non-glass products. There appear to be two versions; one with one thick mounting disk, and one with four thin disks, for fixed installation; this is in addition to the adjustable mount. I prefer fixed mounting with three thin disks because I can get it flush with the mirror, and it won't move when cleaning. The thick disk version is not perfectly flush (2mm off the mirror), but still acceptable. I didn't care to use the adjustable mount simply because it would move when cleaning the mirror, but there may be situations where the ability to adjust it comes in handy. Overall very satisfied and highly recommended.

I drive a 2015 Prius (3), and am 5' 11". I do a lot of highway driving, and a lot of passing. After a few close calls, I realized I have some serious blind spots. After looking at a few options, these mirrors seemed like the best solution. I wanted something that blended with the look of the car, was adjustable, and seemed solid/robust. I've had them about a week, and so far, they are just what I needed. They work even better than expected. It took a bit of getting used to - when to look at the blind spot mirrors versus the main side mirrors - but now I feel I have a much better sense of the vehicles on either side of my car. I'm very glad I used the adjustable mount option, as it took a bit of tweaking to get the right angle compared to the angle of the main mirror. I rented a car last week, a 2018 Ford Focus 5-door, which had built-in blind-spot mirrors, very similar to these. It felt like confirmation that all cars should have this feature, and that I'd made a good decision in adding them to my car. The other concern I had was with fit and finish, but these look great to me. I doubt anyone would think they weren't original. In my haste to use them, I didn't quite match up the location of them on each mirror, but I don't notice, and doubt anyone else would. My only worry now is if the 3M glue will hold up. I did my best to clean the mirrors first, so hopefully they'll last. // UPDATE: Have had these for years now. They hold up through car washes and anything else. Surprisingly robust.

great little mirrors. Easy to install and and makes side view blind spots virtually dissappear, however ,in the item discription there was no mention of the mirrors cannot be mounted without the pedistal as they are concave and made from glass and cant be bent. Mounted with the pedistal and installed on the mirrors. I used duct tape to stick them on the mirrors to find the optimum place on the car mirrors. After installation they was only a small adjustment to get the optimum view. Would recommend this product.

so this is a long term review, i was just going through my archived orders and came across this and wanted to give a review because they have been so good purchased these in early 2017 for my suv, 8 years on and they are still working great, neither one has fallen off and they still stay adjusted if i ever have to move them if they get bumped or something like that mirror is still crystal clear and holding up great, i would purchase these again with no hesitation, but for as well as they are lasting i probably won't have to unless i get a different vehicle

Upon opening the kit, I see that the mounts are two plates of different size. One is the ball joint, the other is the mounting cup. From what I have discovered, this mirror can ONLY be mounted as a pivoting adjustable mirror. The instructions show the ability to mount without the pivot. However, unless you modify and destroy the pivot plate, there is no way to mount it flat against the mirror. Plus, there is only one piece of adhesive tape included in the kit to mount it as the pivot set up. Nothing else. So, if you modify it, you need to buy more adhesive regardless. That being said, the curve of the mirror is not enough to work that well if used flat. So much of the blind spot would be lost, thus negating the purpose. That lesser curve also works in your favour, as it does not distort the images around you so much. I have mounted one of the mirrors as a trial. This does seem to work for the blind spot, but I am still getting used to it too. I find I still look over the shoulder anyways. Good habits.
