Works as advertised
Used these with Uxcell’s 4” backing pad and M14 cordless drill attachment to polish a concrete barbecue island countertop. Laborious and tedious work (especially using a drill) but worked great overall. I wasn’t looking to match glass and stopped at 50 grit. That said, still very smooth at 50 grit; very impressive. Counter top measures 84” x 30” and 60” x 30” (L-shape) plus a backsplash with a topper. Both 50 grit pads held up great and not completely worn down. Polished both wet and dry. Be advised: very messy work when wet polishing and 100% need for quality respirator dust mask when dry polishing. Ended up preferring to dry polish 2 to 4 square foot sections at a time then cleaning area with a dry vac (mine has a bag). Tricky to keep pads perfectly centered on concrete, but definitely doable.

Good quality
It seems to be a good quality product. I used it wet and dry. Didn't have any problems with the disc coming off.

High Shine, No Problem
I had no problem attaining a high shine on very hard granite. Keep in mind these are meant for edge polishing not surface polishing. You can polish a surface such as a table top but the result will be wavy due to the small diameter of the polishing pads. I posted before and after pictures to show my edges had saw marks in them. The 50 grit pad had no problem removing the saw marks. I spent some time with the 50 grit but after that it took about 2 minutes per pad to get a desirable shine. Note, it takes more time but I let the stone dry before moving to the next pad. Doing this ensures I didn't miss any spots and I can move on to the next finer grit. Having the right equipment make the job much easier. I use a Suhner meant for this exact purpose (see photo). It has a water feed that pushes water through the center of the pads. I used to use similar polishing pads in the 90’s and don’t understand why the backing pad that comes with the polishing pads didn’t have a hole in it for water feed machines. It was simple to drill a hold through the backing pad (see photo). Another issue with these pads is that the two finer grit pads are both brown. You can count on the numbers on the back of the pads to wear off so I recommend making a card that will remind you which color is a certain grit. That is blue is 50 grit, yellow is 100 grit, and so on. I highly recommend these polishing pads. If you found this review helpful, please click the ‘helpful’ button. Thanks.

Works
This product worked great for my situation - I accidentally used CLR to clean a fixture in an all marble shower and the CLR put streaks down the wall.... Ouch. The lines could be felt with a fingernail. The #1 most important thing about this product - A variable speed polisher.... A 10k RPM angle grinder will burn the pad onto the marble!!! I tried it. Moving on - The 2nd most important thing about this product is it needs WATER! The 3rd most important thing - MARBLE POLISH! This is KEY to getting that mirror finish and I used Lustro Italiano Etch Remover. I started with the 800 grit pad at 1000RPM to get the lines out and then worked my way up: 1500,3000,6000. I increased the speed between each grit increase and ended up doing a final pass at 3500RPM with the 6000 grit. The marble was pretty shiny after the final pass but not mirror like the original finish. I just happened to have the marble polish on hand and after a little elbow work the marble was a mirror again. I had the girlfriend hold the shower faucet hose as a water supply since I didn't have a real marble polisher... It was a sight.... Just make sure you are on a WORKING GFI circuit if you try to cut corners like this......... ... . . . . . .

Great quality will buy again
I’m using them to polish rocks as part of my rock business. They were amazing on bigger pieces and I paired them with the ZFE wet polisher that I also got here on Amazon. The different amounts of grits annd durability are amazing giving the stones an amazing shine. They stay on the pad without flying off like some of the lower quality ones do. Super safe and easy to use on all different speeds.

Great diamond pads, terrible mounting pad.
Diamond pads are great. Foam backer pad is crap, causes your grinder and arms to vibrate like crazy, wastes time recentering, and doesn’t last. We cast three concrete countertops, about 45 sq ft total, with specialty aggregate we added. We used a Ridgid diamond grinding wheel to expose the aggregate and then started with these pads. One 50 grit pad was used up polishing out the grinding swirls, then we progressed to 400 grit before using slurry to fill the pinholes. First of all, the hook and loop pad was mounted eccentrically on the plastic base, so even with no pad attached, the grinder vibrated like crazy. I fixed this by running the grinder and holding a piece of sandpaper next to the mounting pad to sand the edges until it was concentric. I centered the diamond pad on the hook and loop mounting pad, and within five minutes the Dewald 4.5” grinder is vibrating like crazy again. So I stop it and find the pad has moved off center. I have to rip the pad off and recenter it. Then I have to repeat that every 5 minutes. That gets old really fast, and after a couple of hours of increasing vibration you fell pretty beat up. About halfway to 400 grit, the problem solved itself: the foam backer and diamond pad flew off the plastic backer and crashed into the garage wall. Glad it didn’t fly off the other way and hit me. One trip to Home Depot for a good rubber mounting pad with decent hook and loop fastening and there is no vibration or need to recenter every 5 minutes. So pads are great. In hindsight, if there was another kit on Amazon with a rubber backing pad instead of cheap foam glued onto a plastic backer, I would have bought that one.

The diameter is not big enough to avoid any inclination in angle. It has to be perfect, if not it makes a scratch and you have to do all over again. I am using wet sand paper instead of. No big difference between 50 and 800 or 6000. Not happy with this product or maybe it is too difficult to use, I don't know.
