Can this be used with a gas stove?

I'm not sure to be honest. I've washed my pot or pan and put on my electric stove semi wet and it did not burn the bottom of the pan... They do scratch easy. I accidentally used a blender in it and it scratched it down to the metal...

What’s the handle coating?

I'm not sure how to answer but it's a comfortable handle feels like wood but coated with a shine. I love these pans but unfortunately my husband has ruined them lol
