Time to replace a 10 year old mat which had seen better days but served me well. I wanted something similar with a gel cusion for the wrist and this one seems great with an even softer gel pocket. I had seen reports from other reviewers that the black fabric does not always lend itself to smooth pointer movements with laser type mice with some reviews suggesting the pointer sticks or is jerky but this hasn't been the case for me as the mouse responds perfectly for both gaming and work related activities. The mouse glides effortlessly across the mat with the pointer responding accurately whilst remaining very responsive. So far so good.

Just what I needed. I work a lot on my laptop and i needed a new mouse mat. I would get aches in my wrist so i tried this mat out. It was just what i really did need. I no longer get wrist ache from using the mouse so long. The support really helps my wrist and it is very comfy and soft. The mat feels sturdy and good quality. It does not feel thin. It is thick and the rubber underneath helps keep it in one place so it does not slide about. It isn't too large so is ideal if you work on a laptop lap table where you are limited for space. So as a mouse mat it functions very very well. The colour is a nice deep black and will match anything if you are one for matching stuff up....For the price its the only mouse mat you need.....
