I just recently purchased a plasma cutter, and I wanted a new welding helmet that was multifuction. This one fits the bill. It has a larger view than the welding helmet I currently use. Its also more clear, I don't know how it compares to other "true color" helmets, but it is a good improvement over my regular "green" auto darkening helmet. The batteries are easily accessible for replacement when/if needed. My other helmet you had to take apart the entire electronics portion in order to access the batteries. I've had that helmet for 10 years, and a few years ago the batteries did die and the helmet stopped working. I modified it so I could replace the batteries easier, and have had to replace them once again since that time. But it is really nice that this helmet is already setup for easy battery replacement if its ever needed. It also comes with some extra lenses. I was actually on here looking to buy some additional lenses as I hate it when the viewing window begins to get scratched up decently. So I probably change lenses more often (as far as "viewability" wise) than some other people. But I also just use this in my home shop a weekly to semi-daily basis, so its not that often time wise. I do keep my helmet covered when not in use. I liked the idea behind the bag cover... but the design of the that comes with this was not really thought out. I don't know what they were thinking, but the draw strings make no sense. There are two sets of draw strings, that go down through two additional eyelets at the bottom corners, and then back up to the top... No matter how you draw it up, it just doesn't really work. Plus there is no way to keep it drawn closed, as there is no draw string "keeper" or other clip. So it will just fall back open. If you pick the bag up the wrong way, it could open and you could drop your helmet. I've taken the strings out of the bottom eyelets... and I think I will remove one string all together and then add some type of clip to keep it closed. Anyway, I've used it for about a month and do recommend the helmet. For the cost verses the features and useability, I would buy it again.

Super solid helmet — the true-color lens is noticeably clearer, the wide view helps a lot, and the LED light is actually useful in darker spots. Fast auto-darkening and comfortable fit.

It works great gets dark quick easy to adjust the settings how u want them only complaint is not a big deal but new out of the box some of the paint/decal was messed up but not enough to worry about

to my surprise this helmet is amazing. since i got it i have yet to reach out for my lincoln or miller hoods. very impressed the only thing I would upgrade is the head gear is not the best but will do.

Don't be fooled by the price, this helmet works awesome, adjustable darkening,can use for grinding too.

Bought this for a kid in high school weld class when his broke. He loves looks of it and how it fits. Out of the box it was ready to use and it’s a very durable hood for the price. The auto dark screen lets you adjust the brightness allowing a better weld.

The design on this hood is awesome. Super cool. I love the settings. The weld / grind option is awesome. The part I dislike is this hood was only good for about two months. The hood lense started to darken to the point I could no longer see my welds. The initial experience with this hood is it seemed great. Now, after purchasing a Miller, I can say the quality is unmatched. The Yeswelder hood quality is much darker than the Miller hood. It's greenish looking through the lense. The durability isn't great being I needed a new hood two months later. It isn't made to last. I wish it was. It fit great. It's such a cool hood with so much potential. Upgrade the quality in technology, and you'll have a return customer.

Very comfortable , nice looking exterior, larger viewing area than I had been using.
