Very helpful. My child loves to do the activities and lessons. Make sure to rip out the answers in the make of the book. No cheating!

If you are religious….
I personally think that these books are fantastic for having the kids practice their reading. It exposes them to different subjects, like a Buddhist fable, so what? I think its very healthy and interesting for kids to be exposed to different subjects, beliefs and equally different vocabulary that we really don’t use daily. Do I agree with the story of the moms? Nop. But that’s just me. I skip the page and i move on, no big deal. I spend my days homeschooling my kids and I believe that their core beliefs will be rooted in the home and by my own conduct. If you are religious and keeping your kids in a bubble I suggest you to buy only books with stories that you agree with. Otherwise I highly recommend these series of books.

I am not sure why so many people here didn't mention that the book had so many publishing errors such as extra blank spaces for some fitting words, missing word in the instruction, wrong answer keys, etc . we have done 6 activities and 2 of them were with some errors. I would not recommend it at all!
