This is a pretty solid little gaming device. The selection of games is great (for the International version because the Japanese version had some different games included for them), the buttons and analog stick feel alright, and the screen while small is pretty good. The only thing I really don't like about this system is the fact that it doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery, so whether you plan on using this on the TV or not, you need to have some kind of external battery nearby and plugged in. Also, I did play this system on the TV and to me, it looks pretty good. I've seen many video reviews of the device crap about how the TV output on this thing sucks and I honestly don't know why. I'm not someone who's into getting and wanting the most detail when it comes to playing any game (retro or indie) on the big screen (example being 1080p over 720p or some crap like that), but that's just me.

This is the best mini arcade out there. I actually took this on my long international flight, plugged it to the plane's USB charger, plugged a headset to the back of the mini arcade and played some games. Can't go wrong with this one if you are a Neogeo fan

The Neo Geo mini console was the least expensive of the mini consoles I purchased. However, the price saving is offset in the lack of accessories to maximize its use. The device doesn't come with a power brick or HDMI cable (if you want to connect it to your TV). And the device appears to want a micro HDMI cable instead of a regular one. Which is a bit of a hassle if you don't have these things already. And certainly cuts in to overall price saving this device otherwise appears to have. The screen is on the smaller side, as are the controls. But they work well enough. I found the device far more enjoyable with either a MayFlash dongle, or better yet, the Neo Geo controllers. For the price and the fact that I plan on playing the games through my TV, they're fine. The games' library is pretty good, though; very full of fighting games. Too much, in my opinion. And honestly, I wouldn't have been heartbroken if a couple of the Metal Slug games weren't included to make space for additional ACT or STG games. However, the Neo Geo mini is pretty good in terms of price to fun games compared to a few other mini consoles. In this day and age, I think mini consoles should include everything to play them right out of the box. For the Neo Geo that also includes an HDMI cable since it didn't go with a more commonly available cable input.

I will be very honest. I did not expect much from these, but they’re way above my expectations. Nice build quality, they don’t feel cheap, the buttons and the stick can take a severe beating and still function perfectly. The screen looks way better than I thought also, and many of the legitimate systems do not come with as many games that these units do. Not including the HDMI out works beautifully, do mind you will need a Mini HDMI cable to HDMI or adapter/or the official cable for it. So much fun with the family if you get the controllers for it. I bought both versions because it’s so good and even plan to buy more just to keep in boxes. These will be worth a lot someday and are very cool collector items.

Bought this for the novelty and casual play when I'm bored. For those reasons, I think it's great. While not all games are winner, most of them are great. The screen is really clear and sharp. Sound is nice and clean, though not very loud. Control and buttons are fine, though don't expect it to be high quality of an arcade stick. If you like little arcade machines and love NEO GEO games, then this is a no brainer. I do like the Asia model for the aesthetics, but I bought this one for the US version of the games and there are more games here that I like than the other. Whichever you chose, I think it's a neat little toy. If you are a serious gamer who wants a serious gaming machine, then this is not for you. For me, I love it.

The good news is the Neo Geo Mini seems well constructed, looks really nice, has 2 controller ports and runs and HDMI signal to a larger screen. The bad news is the HDMI signal is only 720p and the raw video output (without the enhancement filter) is a bit rough. I also wish the marquee wasn't just a sticker but they did provide a choice of 3. It's just a nice piece to have sitting around, and the built in controls are top notch quality just difficult to complete complicated moves with.

Super cute! Maybe not the best way to play NeoGeo games but it looks great as a decoration piece. The stick and buttons feel high quality, its just a little difficult to play if you have larger hands.

Excellente petite borne Neo Geo avec un look sympa, et des hits par dizaines, en particulier tous les Metal Slug. Possibilité de brancher des manettes externes pour jouer à plusieurs. Top !

Non perdete tempo, è il migliore emulatore per i titoli in elenco!! I giochi girano come nei cabinati degli anni '90, velocissimi e la grafica è eccezionale! Acquistate i due joypad originali + un cavo hdmi-hdmi mini e collegate ad un televisore moderno non troppo grande .. Lo riconosce immediatamente, ci sono poi settaggi di base per adattare meglio l'immagine, Lo schermo LCD è troppo piccolo senza un monitor esterno. I giochi non sono tanti ma i Metal Slug ad esempio sono meravigliosi!! Sorprendente

Nostalgie pur und macht einfach Spaß!

Me gustó por los juegos, por ser coleccionable y el concepto está padre (de una mini arcade). Lo bueno: -Los juegos incluidos son variados e incluyen joyas de NEO GEO que nadie debería de perderse (Samurai Shodown II, Metal Slug 3, The King of Fighters 98, Blazing Star, por ejemplo). La emulación es buena (no he tenido ningún problema hasta ahora). La pantalla es buena, tiene gran nitidez y se ajusta bien. El sonido es bueno también, con unas bocinas adecuadas. El diseño en general de la mini arcade está simpático. Lo malo: Los botones están feos y no tienen el orden correcto de un control de NEO GEO CD. El stick NO tiene micro switches como debería de ser un arcade (incluso mini arcades como la Sega Astro City mini o la Taito EGRET II mini sí los traen, pero salieron bastante después que ésta). Al pasarla a la TV por medio de HDMI, escala muy feo... La recomiendo si te gusta coleccionar cosas de videojuegos (y/o de NEO GEO), como curiosidad para tenerla en un cuarto de juegos o inclusive como una mini consola de juegos (solo tienes que aceptar las fallas que tiene).
