I am extremely pleased with the brightness and white light this LED puts out and the quality of the unit. I mounted it 19 ft high beside my driveway and it is as bright as, if not brighter than a LED street light. It lights up at least a 60' radius. I agree with another reviewer that you can sit in the yard at night and read a book. My only suggestions for improvement are that if you use the extension arm to mount it, the cord protection bracket (cover plate) was only made for direct mounting the light. In order to cover the wiring connections from view, I had to cut it in half and mount it over the clamp that is used to secure the light to the extension arm (and caulk the gaps on the sides). Also it would be nice if a rubber grommet was provided that fit the open end of the bottom of the extension arm (where the wiring comes out) to prevent wasps from entering. I still give it a 5 star since these are only minor installation issues, Overall, I couldn't be happier with this light for security lighting.

it works great... I love the light it produces. It just seems it should be designed for easier installation. I had to hold it in my hands and connect the wires and then shove it on the pipe mount. It should have been designed so that you could mount the light on the pipe and then had both hands free to make the electrical connections.

We installed this near our barn on a tall pole to replace an old mercury light. It is smaller but also much brighter than our old light and lights up a larger area. I especially like that the LED is CREE which is a brand I trust. I expect this will last a long time before needing replaced, we will see. So far we have had it for a year and have really liked it.

This light works great BUT, it needs a better mounting bracket for the pipe stand off mounting. My mounting hardware was missing ( no nuts and bolts I had to supply my own) I had to make a 2nd top bracket or the light will move around in the wind. Nice and bright and it's been working for a week now I hope it keeps working

Arrived with slightly cracked housing. Chinese cast aluminum, i guess. I am currently having a problem with the photocell, but I'll see if I've resolved that. Other than that the light is excellent. Better than I hoped for - it's brilliant! Too bad about the QC issues, otherwise it would get 5 stars

Great light. My electricians mounted it on the side of the barn and extends out enough to light part of the front as well as the whole side of a 40 by 50 ft. barn as well as the yard between the house and the barn. The electricians were so impressed with the quality that they asked for the order information.

Nice bright light, the mounting arm was a little light duty and the electrical cover is cheap made. Overall it is worth the money.

Very bright as stated, which is what we hoped. Good security for garage area. Yes, you really can read under it in the middle of the night, but it points downward and diffuses outward, so does not shine into neighbor's windows. Reasonable installation difficulty. Just what we needed to replace old mercury vapor fixture that finally bit the dust.
