These are great! They are super sturdy and cute to boot I was worried they may tip, if I didn't put my "emotional support water bottle" (as my husband calls it) perfectly in the middle, but even on one side, or the other, these hold the weight really well. The side that goes on your leg feels like a bean bag char and molds to your legs really well, making these pretty sturdy. We debated buying them for a while, cause they're not exactly cheap, but now we are so glad we have them and use them all the time - yes, we eat dinner on the couch a lot 😁

This is a really nice tray. The beanbag bottom is comfortable, the material doesn't slip, and if you remove the beanbag bottom the snaps don't extend out from the wood tray itself. I frequently use the tray with a trivet to catch condensation or drips, and I can also conveniently store the trivet by slipping it in between the underside of the tray and beanbag top. I'm very pleased with this tray, it looks nice and the handle areas feel good to carry, beanbag bottom seems just right for me too.

Outstanding product! I love the fact that the table made out of bamboo. It's got handles and it's got a raised edge that comes around the whole thing. I love the attached pillow underneath and the beads that are used. It's the exact amount so it molds to my legs as I'm using it. It's very comfortable for eating my meals in front of the TV. I'm able to do my crafts with it as well. I highly would recommend it. The price was also wonderful compared to other sites that were charging upwards of three times more for the same exact product. Plus I've used TV trays with legs and it makes it better than TV trays cuz it's closer to you and because it does not have legs you don't have the issue you do with standard TV trays where you could accidentally bump the legs and spill your food onto the floor like I've done in the past. LoL

My wife and I wanted a tray to use when we eat on the sofa and watch TV (which is always the case). Most trays look cheap and you want to hide them when not in use. Our end tables and the wood finishes on all our furniture is a dark stain. Again, most trays are light color and would totally clash with our furniture and as they say, "stick out like a sore thumb". When I saw these trays with the option for a dark finish, I knew they were a must and would match our furniture and be a great purchase - DONE. The wood appears to be hand stained so you have some color variations which is actually good as it blends nicely with our wood finishes and even our dark stained wood floors. The bean bag style cushion is perfect as it adjust easily to your legs and makes keep things balances / even easy. You will notice this snaps off for cleaning. The side handles make it easy to pickup and move the tray. Both trays fit nicely in the basket that came with them. It is a lighter color, but is neutral enough it goes ok. We keep the basket and trays sitting beside our end table next to the sofa. They are easy to grab and use. The front ledge of the tray is lower (about 3/4 inch) - just enough to keep things from sliding off and yet not interfere with the use. I was concerned about the wood finish but it is holding up nicely. If you get a nick or ding in the wood, you can easily use a furniture touch up felt pen made for furniture finishes. We did buy clear plastic place mats to help protect the inside of the tray from spills or hot plates, or beverage glasses. However, we defaulted to just using a nice dishtowel for that purpose. We'll look for a nicer cloth placemat - keeping in mind thought it needs to be smaller than typical ones as those are slightly too large. Bottom line, the tray is very good quality, has a nice expense look and serves the purpose. [Note to readers - lighter wood finish and color also available for this product. You will find this tray is made by the same company that makes the Lapgear products. Basically this one more home use, and lapgear more appealing to the computer laptop use purpose. On that note Lapgear actually makes a larger (flat) lap desk in the similar color and exact same pillow material - - all matches these trays. Yes, we also bought that laptop desk so all can be mix and match items in our family room. Both items available on Amazon. Enjoy

I have been looking for a couple of lap trays to go with my new sofa. My guests have been having trouble eating dinner while sitting on the sofa using just pillows. There were a number of tray options on Amazon, but I was drawn to these for a few reasons. They are well made & high quality trays. They don't feel cheap, quite the opposite, but they are still lightweight. They're just the perfect size for the average lap, able to hold a normal sized plate & utensils, etc without a problem. The cherry on top is the detachable cushion. That allows these trays to serve double-duty. You can use them with the cushion as normal lap trays, or remove the cushion, either to wash it or in order to use the tray standalone. The color choices of the wood/cushions is also very good. I'm already debating on buying a 3rd tray.

This is well constructed and easy to maintain. The design is lovely and the lap desk/table works very well. I really like that the cushion cover is washable! I’m very happy with this product.

high quality - not often and I leave a positive Amazon review :D - but I just realised I've been using this nearly every day for four years including getting it a bit wet whilst wiping it down sometimes and it is still in one piece. Outstanding.
