PSIG only. When disconnected the gauges read zero. The P-T chart for R-134a is fairly accurate to within around 3 degrees F, as far as I can tell, which means it is definitely PSIG/TempF.

Is this fahrenheit? i do not want celsius? the pictures show f but the third bullet point on the description says celsius? what is the truth?

Under what circumstances should the pins (as shown in D, similar to tire valve pins) be unscrewed from the ends of hoses using the red tool?

I would say these are extra valve cores in case one goes bad
