I love it, but not necessarily as a day moisturizer, unless I'm not wearing any makeup for the day. It feels sticky/tacky when 1st putting it on, and it does seem to take a while to absorb into my skin. But once it's absorbed, it leaves my skin feeling extremely soft. I really love it for this reason. I think with the wholesome (non-chemical) ingredients in the product, which are organic, this is probably expected. I've found I do prefer to use this at night and when I'm not bothering with makeup for the day. But if putting on any makeup, and time is of the essence, then this may not work for some. I love it none-the-less. It really makes my skin soft and moisturized. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering. I would buy again!

I liked this moisturizer. It smells nice and makes my skin feel soft. I was using the rose Biossance cream, which I really like, but it is very pricey. This lotion does not soak in as quickly as the Biossance but feels comparable to me at a much lower price point.

I bought this because it ranked well on the EWG database and I really like it. I’m prone to red patches and have always had moisture issues with my skin. This really helps, even my spouse noticed a difference. The only issue is that it comes in a pretty small glass bottle and I run out pretty frequently. It smells exactly like roses and the smell is strong, but I like that.

I put this moisturizer on the night it arrived, and unfortunately I woke up with an itchy rash like poison ivy everywhere I put it. I do have sensitive skin, but it’s not THAT sensitive, and the worst thing that’s ever happened is that I might have broken out with a pimple or two. I’ve never had poison ivy on my face, and no other product has ever done this to me. I ended up having to use Aveeno anti-itch concentrated lotion (which is for poison ivy, insect bites, chicken pox rash, and allergic itches) for almost a week on my face. It looked horrible and felt worse. I have happily used moisturizing lotions from brands like Laneige, Cetaphil, Pūrlisse, Three Ships, Sunday Riley, Glow Recipe, and Yensa with no problems, and I’ve rarely had any problems with major make up brands. I have NEVER had an itchy allergic reaction from anything except poison ivy in my life, and NEVER on my face, so this was completely unexpected and disappointing. I have no idea which ingredient caused the reaction, but I will not be using it again and would never think of passing it to a sister or friend. It went promptly in the trash. I tried the eye cream by this brand, and I had no reaction (thank God! An itchy rash around my eyes would have been a nightmare!) However, the itchy rash from the moisturizer scared me enough that I threw the eye cream away too. If you have sensitive skin, try something else, or read the ingredients carefully to see if there’s something that will cause a reaction. I have NO idea what caused the itchy rash, but I will not be repeating the experience. What a waste of money.

I was looking for a product that is both organic and free of chemicals, and also effective and gentle on the skin. This moisturizer did the trick. The scent is light and pleasant, and the texture absorbs nicely by the skin. Very happy with the purchase.

The moisturizer is very sticky on the face. But I don’t mind that at all, because after a while it does settle in. It is moisturizing. As a scent same as their rosewater. I have very sensitive skin, usually this does well on my skin but there are days where it burns around the eyes and nose.

My skin looks amazing!! I have milia under both eyes that flares up and really hurts. I have tried everything and nothing worked. I have been using the rose face wash, rose water spray, and then follow with the rose lotion and my skin looks amazing! Milia are barely noticeable and NO flare-ups! I am 48 and I don't even wear makeup anymore! I will not be using anything else on my face but these products!

Alteya products have been favorites of mine for a long time. This particular moisturizer is so wonderful for my skin - absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling plump and dewy but not greasy. These products always help to clear up any irritation I may have with my skin, and my face just looks younger. They also smell heavenly. I've run out before and noticed a big difference when coming back to Alteya. I don't want to run out again.

This is just *astonishing*. The best moisturiser I've used in many many years. I'm absolutely in love with it. It's very comfortable on my fragile and sensitive skin - no greasy feel - but gives lasting hydration. My skin feels truly protected and resilient. It's also the first moisturiser I've ever used to improve the skin on my throat and neck. I've tried so many brands and this, for me, beats them all. I *so* wish Alteya would make a bigger size bottle for this Damascena Day Moisturiser :-)

Not sure if it was reformulated since 10 years ago as I see in mixed reviews, but honestly the best moisturiser! Feels so high end and works with beautiful results. I've already purchased my second bottle after using for close to a year. Really a staple for me at this point. Great packaging as well, in a black glass bottle.

Me gusta esta crema porque aunque apliques muy poca cantidad mantiene la piel hidratada todo el día, incluso por la tarde noche si presiono sobre la piel de mi rostro noto todavía su efecto. Buen producto

I have to comment on this beautifull moistureiser the most perfect one i have yet used sinks in leaving skin like silk perfect before make up couldnt be topped for this love it for this as so many others leave make up smeared great company and allways send samples with purchase i rate this moistureiser and company 5stars thank you alteya for your trust worthiness from myra
