I just received this journal today. It's the first time I've ordered this journal and there are so many things I love about this journal. The faux leather covering looks and feels like real leather and the golden gilted edged pages make it look even more expensive. The wording on the front of the journal is is one of my favorite scriptures. I love that there is a different scripture on each page, the spacing between each line is perfect and the paper is soft and my pen flows easily as I write. Shrink wrapping it was another way of showing the customer that the seller cared for the journal by protecting it that way. It's deep enough that I can make a label and put it on the side of the journal so I know what this journal is for, i.e., Bible study notes, prayer requests, diary, etc. The journal size is very comfortable too while holding it in my hand. It's very soft and plyable yet not flimsy. I'm definitely going to use this journal for all my journaling in the future and I'm going to place my second order as soon as I fiinish this review. I've been buying day planners made by Christian Art for the past 4 or 5 years now. I went online to buy another for the coming year. I looked at several, and wound up coming back to this design -- but didn't realize that it was a journal rather than a day planner. Still, it is such a beautiful book, I'm going to save sermon notes and Bible study notes in it and I'll go back to pick up a day planner later this week. The workmanship is extraordinary, something I've come to expect from this company. Every book they manufacture is a work of art! I've never been disappointed by the products from Christian Art!

ordered this as a gift for a christian friend, loved the cover, and the quality is superb. This journal is bigger than it looks in the pictur and each page has a verse at the bottom . I would definately recommend again to anybody looking for a gift or for own personal use.
