A versatile heat shrink kit with good thickness and fast activation—just be careful to keep it away from your heat source while soldering. I used this for wire repairs and soldered connections. It performs well and seals tightly, but I found you need to keep the tubing about 4–6 inches away from the joint while soldering. If it’s too close, it can begin shrinking before you’re ready, which makes positioning more difficult. Slide the heat shrink as far as possible down the wire before soldering, then move it into place afterward to avoid premature shrinking. This kit arrived today. It's exactly as pictured. Each size and color are in their own compartment, and each is bundle is rubber banded so that the pieces don't spill. The case itself is very cheap. I'll be careful with the two little latches, they seem like they'll snap off with some use. I did use a piece of the shrink wrap on a frayed wire. Worked as expected. The sizes of the wrap pieces are listed on a sticker on the lid. Very small print, but they're there. I'm surprised the case wasn't cracked, because this item was shipped from Amazon in a paper envelope.

Great value. I ran out of my small supply and purchased this assortment. Used it yesterday to repair broken paslode charger wire. Works as it should. A large amount for what I think is low price.. im happy

Great quality and value

Great package and good value with all the various sizes. Takes up small storage and easy to sort by color. They work well and it's handy having everything ready to go. I just have to remember to slide them on before connecting the wires! It is so much more professional looking using these rather than black tape. Definitely adds to the speed of sealing the connections and can easily see if they have set properly.
