Comfy and lightweight
I bought these shoes to use for cycling. I recently bought a new e-bike and discovered that my legs weren't quite long enough to reach the ground comfortably, so I got these elevator shoes to help with that. And the fact that they don't have any laces to get caught in the chain made them perfect. You'd never know they are elevator shoes by looking at them. I was worried that they might be short walled at the heel inside because of the thick soles and my heel might slip out easily, but that just wasn't the case. My feet stay in them quite well. There is a bit of a high heel feeling that can make you a little unstable if you step wrong to the side, but it is easily overcome. Just for reference I am 66 years old, 5'10" with a 30" inseam that made it difficult for my feet to reach the ground on my bike. But the extra inch or so that these shoes provide over regular shoes made the difference so I can stand safely. I have a 11.5 W size foot and always have to size up to make up for the width, but I didn't do that with these because I didn't want them to be loose. So I bought these in a size 12 and that worked out perfect. Normally I would have bought a 13. But these are roomy enough inside to accommodate my wide feet while still staying snug enough to stay on when I step off my bike. They are very sturdy and durable and clean up well too. I got some mud all over them while bike riding the day before the pictures and cleaned them up easily with a wet towel. I also use them for when we go out as a casual dress shoe. They look sharp, breathe well, and are very comfortable. Plus, they help restore the height I've lost over the years from getting old. And that makes me feel good. :-)

Good quality
Super comfortable and gives ou a slight increase, not much. Toes don’t get jammed in front. I bought them again, that’s how much I liked them.

One of the few good elevated shoes
These specific elevated shoes are much more comfortable than other pairs of elevated shoes that I have owned in the past. The mesh/cloth body does indeed breath, cool breezes do literally seep into the shoes making them acceptable for warmer climates. The rubberized soles do seem to feel a bit light and frail; however, they have been holding up well on regular city streets. I must add that the rubber souls can get gash marks with small hard rocks, they can get trapped in the sole's grooves. The shoes do have a few shortcomings but they are offset by their positive attributes. The inner soles do feel a bit stiff (but they are not too uncomfortable), the shoes soft mesh/cloth body aids in giving comfort. Due to the height being prominent on the back of the inner sole, your feet will most likely be pushed forward into the shoes and this can cause discomfort, this is the only main issue that I have, I can still wear them well enough but I wouldn't recommend them to people who suffer with foot issues (such as bunions/corns). There might be people who can run with these shoes, I can do quick bursts of jogging, but they feel both slightly awkward and uncomfortable running with them for long distances, not to mention the discomfort on the toes. My shoes were about 1/4" shorter than the described height, every Calto pair of shoes that I own tend to be shorter than described. These shoes were not expensive. They are comfortable for elevated shoes, they are aesthetically pleasing, plus they do not look elevated at all. With the added height of these shoes, I do get stares sporadically when I wear them and I must admit they are a confidence booster. Even with the minor complaints, they are definitely a good pair of low priced and decently built elevated shoes, I personally do recommend them.

A comfortable fit
A comfortable fit, easy on the feet. Well made and light weight.

Just okay
The shoes look nice, but you don't get much stability because the soles are so high, and your foot does not sit deep into the shoe. So don't think you are going to wear this all day if you walk around a lot. They are fine for just causal wear with no or low-impact activity. But if you have to walk around all day or if you're on your feet all day, I'll look for a more stable option.

Very comfortable fit! Exceeded my expectations.
The shoes are well designed, easy to put on, and comfortable to wear. The material looks good, though time will tell if it durable enough. It did disappoint in terms of the total height (was expecting to be 1/4" more), but makes up for it by being easy to walk on. I do wish the design was a bit less bland, but there weren't many choices in casual shoes that impart height. Calto's packaging was excellent and I love the little loop at the heel for help with wearing.
