Every PC enthusiast out there owns more than a couple of mechanical HDD's but the manufacturers of motherboards now think we all have money to burn and are happy enough to "throw them away" and replace them with NVME SSD's. I, on the other hand, aren't, and so, with only a maximum of 4 SATA 3 HDD's on my new motherboard this is where this little beauty comes in. My FULL PC Case will take 12 HDD/SSD's so with the motherboards 4 and this PCIE Cards 10 I can more than accommodate my collection of SATA storage capacity. This SATA expansion card is plug and play and so my Windows 11 sees my drives plugged into it on boot up. It comes with 10 x SATA data cables and a SATA Power extension cable so you are up and running immediately.

10 port SATA card. If you wantto create a large raid array then most PC motherboards won't usually have enough SATA connectors for more that 4 drives. This allows you to connect up to 10 SATA drives and saved my bacon! I had a proprietary stand alone NAS box where the motherboard failed and I though I'd lost all the data. Fortunately I'm IT savvy enough to know that it was a linux based system so I bought this card to allow me to plug all the drives into my PC, spin it up in linux and use the linux tools to recover the array and copy it off to a new device. Was easy to set up and provided more than enough ports for my drives. The speed is fine and it's cheap.

Having just upgraded my pc I've been dismayed to see the limited number of SATA ports that come on the latest AM5 motherboards. As such I took a chance on one of these to provide an additional 10 SATA ports. In all honesty I wasn't expecting this to work on Windows 11 and was fully prepared to have to return it, but nope...plugged it in, started up and it just works. UPDATE : Did find one niggle, after sleeping the drives attached to this device disappeared. That said a couple of days after purchasing the seller did send me a message that points me to the drivers for this card. Installing these (despite them being Win 10 drivers) seems to have fixed this, so rating still stands.

2 ports didnt work, but has enough for my use case, decent device

Most modern micro ATX boards only come with a few SATA ports. If your need is more then this is the job for you.

I use this one in a win11pro - stable and no problems with 10 disks 24/24 - 7/7 in a home media server. A little hot. The device come without drivers, ask the seller for the link to the drivers site, I do not understand why they do not publish the link in the product description.

Si tienes una placa con pocos sata y necesitas mas, recomiendo esta placa de 10 puertos gestiona los dispositivos muy bien y puedes olvidarte de los sata de placa. Es la segunda que compro para gestionar 6 discos duros y grabadora de Bluray. y aun me sobran 3 para futuras ampliaciones

Per uso in una postazione PC per avere dei dischi oltre le porte previste dalla scheda madre funziona egregiamente e sono presenti driver aggiornati (necessari per utilizzare tutte e 10 le porte). Come già detto, è consigliabile aggiornare anche il firmware a quello uscito lo scorso anno, cosa che permette di vederle la scheda come periferica secondaria in UEFI. Assolutamente stabile e compatibile con Windows 11 (anche perché, al momento dell' acquisto, ha il penultimo firmware successivo a quello di una recensione precedente) anche senza aggiornare il firmware. In rete si trovano i driver aggiornati (anche sul sito Mzhou, ma non sono gli ultimissimi). Ultima nota: per chi usa una scheda madre con chipset 600/700 è necessario aggiornare il firmware altrimenti non viene riconosciuta e per farlo serve mettere la scheda su una MoBo che non sia di quel chipset, poi funziona.
