Question 1

Is the aerocat the same as the aerodog? the package I recieved says its for dogs on the outside and the product on the inside says it's for cats.

I purchased the AERODAWG for my dog. It is an outstanding product. Not familiar with the "Aerocat" (I looked it up...think AEROKAT is product) but I would say that would be for cats only. For your dog, the AERODAWG is what you want; it is a great device.  Good luck.

Question 2

My dog is afraid of the aerosol Chamber, what do you suggest?

Maybe you could try just lying the chamber next to your dog so he knows it is not threatening. After a little while try just petting using the chamber. Hopefully you can slowly slide it around to the muzzle. I am a groomer and that is what I do with my clipper when they are afraid of it around their face.

Question 3

I'm not seeing the flap moving is it defective?

Maybe. Your pet is definitely not inhaling the medicine if the flap isn't moving, but in my experience (1 year daily use) that routinely happens. The cause has always been me, usually because of a not tight seal of the cup around my dog's nose. I have found holding the aero dawg up near the top (versus near the bottom where the inhaler is) allows me to position it better and keep a good seal. You can check if it is working properly by puffing on it yourself and seeing if it moves (without the medicine, of course!)

which size would best fit a 55lb siberian husky, the medium or the large? I'm only looking for mask size.  thanks in advance!

I bought the medium for my 54 lb and it fit perfectly.  She's had the AeroDawg for so  long now but if my memory serves me correctly I think the Medium also came with a bit larger mask.  Good luck and I hope your husky benefits from this!
