I was on an Atkins diet for years and went off it for various reasons.(mostly because I missed my sugars) I am back on a Keto diet but I'm a lot older and have to be very careful about maintaining a "proper and safe" level of ketones in my system. The strips make sure you know the approximate levels in your system (a must over 50). You want to know your body is using fat for fuel but you also do need to know if your ketone level is too high. This is a good product, they work really well. After many years of low carb diets I can feel it when I'm pushing it with too little carbs. The strips are reflective of what I know I've consumed. If I eat sugar they show me right away I have come out of ketosis. I am grateful these strips are inexpensive as well. Years ago using these things to manage your diet was too expensive so you never really knew if you were in ketosis - you just had to guess!

After reading reviews for these strips, I opted to dip the test strip in my sample rather than try to blindly get a sample in the stream. I use a dosing cup from an empty bottle of cold medication. The test only takes 40 seconds and I have Google set a timer for accuracy, as the instructions say to disregard color changes beyond 40 seconds. I know that they're accurate because I over-did my carbs with a cauliflower pizza and it kicked me out of ketosois! I haven't had any of the reported issues of the strips going bad before 90 days, but I've only been testing for a week. They're so inexpensive, I don't see a problem with having to replace them before I run out of the strips as I store them in a closet in my bathroom so shower humidity may affect their life. One more thing, the color chart is really easy to read! There's no maybes. AS long as you're showing pink, you're in ketosis!

I've used 2 bottles so far--the first bottle was excellent. Test strips reacted immediately, thoroughly, and clearly. Second bottle is a bit dodgy. There are a few strips that are only half the width (like they were sliced incorrectly or I got the last ones from a sheet and it was the leftover bit). Additionally it was a guessing game if there was enough reactant on the test strip portion--some instantly reacted, just like the first bottle. But a good half or more have parts that stay white or partially white, despite saturation. The square tip is mottled (even after waiting the 40 seconds) and the color isn't solid. **Note, I immediately split the second bottle in half and used the just emptied first bottle to minimize the number of times the second half of the strips are exposed to air. Additionally, I use them every time I go, so I am no where near the "expiration" or recommended max of 3 months.** I'm going to order a third bottle because it's the best price for value and frankly, there were zero issues with the first bottle. I'll update after the third bottle if I have an anomaly or need to decrease my rating. ***UPDATE after review and 3rd bottle*** First, the seller was highly responsive to my concerns with the second bottle. Full marks for speed and professionalism of response . Second, while I initially had some of the same issues as the second bottle (having mottled reactions on the test strip), I accidentally made a discovery. Getting the test square "wet" is not enough. Neither is submersion. Holding the stick in a stream or cup didn't consistently work. Let's be honest--most of us probably aren't collecting in a container and submerging the stick. However, if you take the reactive portion and touch it against the side of the container (or elsewhere, ahem) and "force" the contact to happen, it works every time. The only time it is "mottled" now is if I am not touching urine to the entire strip somehow. I'd still recommend this product and give it 4*. Customer service is 5*.

I made this purchase to use the testing strips to monitor my ketone levels for my Ketogenic Dieting and to know when my levels are the highest during the The strips work very well and as purposed. The testing padding at the end of the stick is attached firmly and can not be removed without force. The test color chart is very simple and easy to use on the side of the bottle. The directions are very straightforward and also on the bottle to refer to at any time. The alotted expiration is only 3 months from the open date which will be hard for me to use 150 of them in that time frame but they were so inexpensive that it will not matter. A bottle of 50ct.of Reli-On urinalysis strips at walmart ran me $6.64 and the test had to be read at 15 seconds. The bottle of ReliOn had print that's as too small and the instructions were a two page paper inserted inside. These One Earth Health test strips were much more cost effective at around $10 for 150 and give you a 40 second delay in the read time so you have time to wash your hands. The bottle is very well made and labeled with print that is readable and well versed. Overall this is a wonderful deal and I'm glad I purchased them from amazon this time.

I’d like to start by saying that I’m still extremely new to keto. Been on it for about 2.5 weeks with a 10lb loss so far. SW 181 lb CW 170.5 lb My bottle wasn’t defective at all so my strips did work properly. They did have a slight tint to it but nothing that ruined the results. I also do intermittent fasting so the best time for me to have used these is right before I’m about to eat since that would have the more true level of ketones in my urine. At first I did notice the coloration was light and as I progressed further into ketosis (maybe 4-5 days) the color was getting darker and darker like the shades on the bottle! I really suggest anyone doing keto to look into intermittent fasting. You can get a lot of info from Reddit! I mostly use these strips to see what foods are causing my ketone levels to drop. They did work for me tho and I feel this is a good product for beginners to just have the peace of mind knowing if you’re in ketosis or not. I probably won’t need these later down the line when I’m more confident with my eating and carb intake. Hope this helps!

I started my ketogenic journey about 2 months ago. I used an app to track my carb consumption and bought these keto strips to track my progress. The first 1 week, the strips indicate I had a small amount of ketones in my urine. It was between light to medium pink. In the next two to three weeks, I gradually became more strict in carb consumption (you need to start gradually to avoid keto flu). I got rid of all the keto imitation food like Mission's carb balance tortillas, started to pay attention to total carbs, rather than net carbs. For about 1.5 months, my test result stayed around the purple area. In the last two weeks (about 7-8 weeks into keto), the color turned from purple to pink to negative. I interpreted the negative result as an indication that I am finally fat adapted because I stay strictly on a keto diet. BTW, I also tested my cat and dog's urine for ketones using this ketone strip. Both of their results showed an absence of ketone, which is expected since I feed them homemade meats and veggies only. Cat's professional urine test that was done around the same time also shows negative ketone. If you are about to start a keto diet, this product is a fairly cheap and easy way to give yourself some feedback on your progress. However, if you are already 2 months into keto, you will need a blood keto machine to monitor your ketone level.

This is the 1st time I've used these ketone testing strips. They are easy and work great. Results in 40 seconds! They have a foil seal on the top under the lid and I just punctured a cresent shaped hole on one side and shake a few out like tooth picks and grab one. That way I'm quick and the bottle doesn't stay open long since you are supposed to re cap it as immediately as you can after opening. There is an extra click when I close my bottle, I guess that is so you know you got the lid as tight as possible. Honestly, I got these to see if my Atkins approach to eating is paying off... it is! Since you are supposed to use them up within 3 months and there are 150 in a bottle I've been testing for ketones when ever I feel like it... what I learned is that for me I have a lot more ketones at night than in the morning. I trust these and am happy I found them.

So, after 3 bottles It's settled.. This is by far the most consistent out of them all - I had trouble with my 2nd bottle being inconsistent but the seller quickly fixed that with excellent customer service. Good company to deal with and very, very consistent results. PS. I've used over 10 different products and OneEarthHealth is the best one out there and super affordable. I definitely recommend this product if you need to track your ketosis levels multiple times daily.

These strips are accurate and simple to use. They are better than the other ones I bought online. The quality is there, probably why they are made in the USA versus strips made in China.

Good value for price and shipped quickly. I left out a star because the colour panel doesn’t match the test strip in terms of colour density/darkness (tone works well)...but you quickly adapt to figure it out.

It seems like a good product but unless you can verify it’s results with a blood test you won’t know for sure how accurate it is . I have not used any other method to test other than urine and although the results do vary depending on your dietary intake for the day I have not compared my results to blood test therefore I have not given full marks but if I do verify results and they are in line with urine I will reevaluate the product
