Chest support brace is designed for post-operative support and immobilization of the chest area after open heart or thoracic surgery, sternotomy, sternum fractures, and rib fractures. The brace can be also used to relieve pain associated with intercostal neuralgia.The brace is made of durable, lightweight, and flexible elastic cotton blend material, which is breathable and moisture wicking for increased comfort, thermoregulation, and moisture control. The properties of the fabric allow it to provide gentle compression and support, and adapt to the shape of the body without causing discomfort or restricting normal respiratory function and essential movement.The brace features an anatomical design, which allows to evenly distribute pressure, while providing stable support to the sternum. Two adjustable shoulder straps crossed in the back offer additional support. Velcro fastening ensures easy on and off and adjustability of compression and fit. I 100% reccomend this instead of getting an ACE 6" elastic wrap. *One hundred percent*. Great for working out or extreme sports too. I ride motocross and am learning to snowboard. I wore this to a concert to remind me to hold still and keep my rib protected. It did the job for sure. I do get great relief when Iβm wearing it even though i feel like a stuffed sausage. The pain relief is worth it. I pay a price when I donβt wear it, particularly when lifting. Only reason for 3 stars is. How annoying this thing is to put on/take off.

This product is a fairly well made failure, because of the chronic incorrect sizing chart. I needed it for early recovery after CABG surgery, and it was a complete fail. It does not fit. Nowhere close to a correct fit. My wife is a dress maker and knows how to take proper measurements. Mine were exactly in the middle of the size on the chart, but the fit was nowhere even close. As noted in all the previous reviews, buy at least one size larger than you measure on their table. This product is NOT suitable for a woman with breasts.
