Placé en fin de chaîne vidéo pour un projecteur JVC, le gain sur l'image est assez stupéfiant de précision et de netteté. Il upscale en 4k@24hz 8bits le signal d'un bluray de manière magistrale, faisant croire à de la vraie 4k. Par contre, il ne fonctionnera pas correctement avec une source bluray UHD HDR car il est limité à 8 bits seulement (on a besoin d'au moins 10 bits), les couleurs ne seront pas bonnes en HDR. Ne pas le mettre derrière une box TV car changer de chaîne ou le volume sonore entraînera une petite coupure de l'image très énervante à la longue. Il n'upscale pas les signaux vidéo interlacés, le 1080p50 et 60 hz. Donc pour les amateurs de jeux vidéo, se diriger vers la version gaming du câble.

Yes it works on a 1080 HDTV. You want true 4k buy a real 4k Uhd hdr or Dolby vision tv. Blu ray DVD definite image correction at 1080p/24hz Tad more detail. Refined picture. Clearer picture. Colours little better. Image still looks natural not false or artificial. No drop in smooth motion sensing. You can see more grain in skin. I'd rather have this cable then replace my infinite black pro ultra plasma.

Funktioniert prima an der psvr v1. Bild ist ringsum schärfer. Leider funktioniert es nicht mehr an der psvr v2. Dort geht der Bildschirm immer an/ an Hoffe die gaming edition ist irgendwann auf auf Amazon Deutschland

Ottimo cavo con un buon upscaler e l'unico con un cervello che funge da anti-alising, quindi per i videogames su vecchie Console come Ps2 e Ps3 funziona perfettamente 👌 Su Ps4 invece la storia è diversa, il 4k funziona ma senza hdr e solo colori non rgb.. A livello di qualità d'immagine, funziona bene, l'upscaling a 1080p dai 480p o i 720p è ottima, sopratutto perché oltre ad upscalare ha l'antialiasing, rendendo l'immagine molto più nitida, dettagliata e definita, unica cosa è che ciò lo fa anche aumentando di un po' la nitidezza, cosa che per i puristi d'immagine era meglio evitare, ma alla fine, se si gioca su console vecchie, un poco di nitidezza aumentata è tollerabile. Poi alza il livello del nero un poco, il che può dare molto fastidio se si ha una tv costosa che rappresenta il nero in modo perfetto anche al buio, io con la mia tv Sony 4K XF90 spendendo un po' di tempo, su Ps3 almeno, ho dovuto abbassare il livello del nero da 50 a 48, così il nero rimane nero totale come dovrebbe essere, mentre 47 ''crashava il nero'' e 49 era leggermente sopra, spero di essere d'aiuto con ciò a chi ha una tv costosa che ha contrasto praticamente infinito.. Non do 4 stelle perché il chip interno non è quello più recente quindi peggiore, ma fa ugualmente un lavoro più che buono, anche perché io l'ho comprato usato qui su Amazon a soli 51€, il problema è che mi è arrivato un Mcable Ultra invece che gaming edition, male, il fatto però è che non si trovano molte informazioni su questo cavo online, è quello che costa meno, eppure sembra fare un lavoro uguale a quello gaming, non so cosa cambia, forse sono basicamente uguali, forse la dicitura ''gaming'' gli garantiva più vendite.. Il cavo hdmi deve essere alimentato tramite usb, quindi se la vostra tv ha un ingresso usb benissimo, mi da fastidio che fa una luce abbastanza forte il cavo usb, al buio da fastidio, spero che con lo sviluppo di questo cavo riescano a migliorare tutto.. Ottimo per retro gaming e per tutti i contenuti 720p e 1080p anche su tv 4k! Mentre su fonti 4k è inutile perché l'anti-aliasing non è applicabile

They work, and that alone is very good. A lot of those upscalers don’t work or even pass a signal. The colors are definitely accurate and blacks are deep on OLED display, on YUV444 output. That again is impressive, as some upscalers send an upscaled but inaccurate picture. The downside is the upscaling itself, it’s a mixed bag. At times, it’s excellent. But it can be too “overdone” at times, too much detail enhancement, causing oversharpening, especially if the source is already high quality. It also adds edge enhancement even if no scaling is required, for example, 1080p video on 1080p display will still get this treatment which again can be too much depending on the source. For e.g. older blu-rays do benefit a lot from this, but sharper releases may look worse. In streaming app, I noticed iTunes movies look sharper, as they are a little on the soft side to begin with, compared to Movies Anywhere which already has relatively sharp streams. And there is no option to decrease or disable the edge enhancement. So in summary, I would say it’s impressive but works best for upscaling “soft” videos rather than for already sharp looking videos especially if they have native resolution. An update with an option to adjust or disable edge enhancement would be appreciated.
