How do these sound through the xbox controller? Do I need a Y splitter?

I can only really answer that no, you don't need a splitter. They come with 2 cables, one for a PC/Amp which splits the audio output and input and then a combined cable for one connection on both ends. As for how it sounds on Xbox I can't say for sure but if it sounds anything like mine did on my PC before I used the splitter cable or amp then it should sound great.

What is the sound pressure dB level on these?
