Pilot Prera Medium-Nib, Royal Blue Body Fountain Pen (FPR-3SR-RB-M)

Really great pen with a smooth writing experience. The pen is short in length however the weight is very smoothly distributed thoughout the pen. The converter holds less ink as it's small in size and needs to be purchased separately (Con-40). However, as the writing experience is fabulous I would definitely recommend this pen!! 4.5 Star from my side. Please go with the medium drill nib version atleast, as the medium drill writes on the finer side - (0.5 mm). With a fine nib the writing might be too feeble and non-prominent.

Smooth writing. Good quality finish. Smaal and compact in size. The nib is Medium but its Japanese medium which is universally Fine point. But price is on higher size. No converter though.

I have been using it for a week. This is a small entry level fountain pen and is designed to write comfortably. It would be good if they provide this model with appropriate converter. The CON-40 converters (screw type ones) available for this model are not comfortable and are low capacity.

Excellent writer from the very first moment. Size is alright although slight small, nib is super smooth, nice ink flow. Good value for money.

The pen does not come with ink convertor that is only short coming, they have lowered the rate of pen as they've not given convertor. You have to buy one from outside or pre order online. Writes smooth, use iroshizuku ink by pilot, goes best with it, writes best with it. Alternatively you can use pilot waterproof ink as well. Pen is well sized to fit in pocket, does not leak. The pen is also genuine product, had it checked from a reputed Pen dealer.

This is an excellent pen, slightly short and needs to be posted to write comfortably. The pen writes extremely smoothly, I've got a medium nib and writing with it is a pleasure. The color of the pen is lighter than the photograph suggests here. If you're considering this pen, I'd recommend it. This is a classy, smooth writing pen. You'll have to buy a converter for this pen. I use CON-40.

I love every writing machine by Pilot. I have four Metropolitans, one Custom 92, three 78G, three Ink Tank, one Prera Iro Ai, one Kakuno and one calligraphy set. I have almost all nib grades. I think I have forgotten names of two pens, and not to mention this Prera for which I am writing the review. Blindly buy a Pilot. You will rarely regret it.

Very smooth pen. Ink flow is excellent. Unique small design that can easily fit in your pocket. The medium nib would be equal to fine in Lamy pen. Go for it. Also forward fountain pen enthusiasts, purchase a wordsworth and black fountain pen. I find its writing the best so far when compared with lamy or pilot. That's probably because it has 18 k gold tipped nib

The smaller compact size of this model makes it a good pocket or handbag pen. Nice ivory finish let's it stand out a bit in the sea of clear or black pens. Writes like a classic Pilot, smooth and trouble-free out of the box. Cap snaps shut in a very smooth and positive way.

MI E' PIACIUTA PERCHE': leggera, elegante, rifinita (è sempre una penna stilografica giapponese....), scrive magnificamente. NON MI E' PIACIUTA PERCHE': un po' cara (ma solo un po'); il tratto è un po' troppo sottile per un pennino classificato "Medium" (ma questa è una caratteristica tipica di PILOT, cui manca un vero pennino così ed anche un pennino "Broad", ossia grosso per scelta di produzione: quello disponibile è più un pennino calligrafico che altro e non va neanche molto bene). PERCHE' HO ACQUISTATO LA PENNA: per il piacere della scrittura stilografica, che Pilot garantisce magnificamente (salvo il tratto un po' troppo sottile per i miei gusti, ma va bene lo stesso per la scorrevolezza e la precisione della scrittura Pilot). Gl'inchiostri PILOT sono fra i migliori al mondo: rigorosamente da usare sempre, con questa penna (ma anche con tutte le altre) !!!! Imperdibile per chi ama gli strumenti di scrittura di qualità.

Con la calidad propia de la marca, no decepciona, si bien se siente ligera en peso (preferencia personal) no merma la buena experiencia, en cuanto a escritura es suave y fluida, mas que punto medio la linea tiende a ser bastante fina, probablemente preferiria una plumilla mas humeda y flexible pero nuevamente esto es preferencia personal. En resumen altamente recomendable y al precio actual (+/- $500MXN) probablemente sea insuperable en relacion costo-beneficio

wie sein durchsichtiger Kollege, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache. Sieht in dem gewählten Grau etwas seriöser aus ;) Ansonsten genauso gut, bemerken sollte man vielleicht, dass bei diesem Füller kein Konverter dabei ist ( der passende Konverter Pilot Fountain Pen CON-50 Converter kann durchaus um die 10,- € kosten ). Die M-Feder schreibt sehr schön weich und ist verglichen mit dt. Federn der gleichen Stärke immer noch wesentlich feiner. Für mich genau richtig.

Dicen que una estilogràfica es un buen plumìn con unas partes màs o menos lujosas que lo complementan. Bueno, no es una expresiòn muy acertada, en general. Si la calidad del plumìn es importante, el de la Prera cumple y lo comparte con varios modelos de Pilot. Es francamente bueno en mi experiencia. Pero a eso hay que sumar la ligereza de la pluma, su contenido tamaño y en el caso de ésta, que he comprado por la mejorìa en materiales del barril y capuchòn que la 'privilegian' en la serie. Si la que ya tenìa en resina plàstica de un color marròn muy sobrio siempre me pareciò excelente para el uso diario, esta me ha sorprendido en la calidad material que destaca pero sin desdecir de su sobriedad. Prera me parece una gran serie de Pilot. Y a un precio muy aquilatado para lo que ofrece. No lo duden, acertaràn.
