Worked straight out of the box. It well made and strong . I tried another brand earlier and the ear pad cushion separated while attempting to delicately put the chips in the pocket. This one is solid and good value of money and time If you are looking at choices buy this one !

I know these are older headphones now, but they’re still great headphones and my daughter was really attached to them as part of her daily gear. She wore them through to the foam. The little sensors were a little tricky to manage, but the videos online were helpful, so once I watched the video it only took a few minutes and a careful handling of the headphones had them back to new in a few minutes.

My old Parrots sounded great but they earcups were dead! on a lark, I picked these up instead of throwing the old ones out. The video for installation is very helpful. I would recommend you watch you first all the way through and then watch it as you are doing it. I did manage to break one of the internal connections on the wires that I was supposed to swap but they are just for the internal buttons. I use the headphones by tapping on the outside and that still works perfectly. Overall, I'm impressed and very happy. Note: I did not realize that you need to pull out the old rings. I thought I would have to glue these new pieces on but once you pull out the old rings, the new earcups gently clip right back on. I was astounded. Normally, I'm all thumbs with these kinds of things but this worked out really well. Definitely would recommend if you are happy with your sound but want better ear cups!

in retrospect, it was dumb of me trying to fix the cushion of the headphone. they just do not fit and kept coming off after installing. wasted money. Do Not buy

Despite being extremely careful removing the old pads after watching the video, one of the leads soldered to one of the control chips, broke off. Based on the very short leads to the chips, I don’t think Zik designed the pads to be replaceable. It was a very tedious job to re-solder the tiny lead to the chip. Obviously, the solder points are quite old and I think could snap off no matter how careful you are. Then, I found that on the new ear cushions both ends of the chip holder slots were glued shut. So I had to cut the proper ends open to insert the chips. This was a quality control issue but extra frustrating after the solder debacle. Finally, the ear cushions did not easily snap back onto the headset, despite what the video shows. You have to stretch areas on the new cushions which you can’t even see, all while terrified you might rip something. After more than one hour, the new cushions were on and all the functions of the headphones worked, even surprising me! I’m very happy with the result but, if you have issues like the above, this would definitely not be a “plug ‘n play” project. Good luck!

The video was very helpful. Just go slow and have good light to see what you are doing. Pay close attention to how the connection wires fit into the small slots. I made sure the two black wire gold connectors were not touching each other. Good price to keep these headphones looking and working like new.

My headphones are in perfect shape and all that was needed was an ear pad change. Total money saver.

Mein alten Polster waren leider kaputt und gerissen. Ich habe mich für diese Ersatzpolster entschieden und bin total zufrieden. Sie waren schnell bei mir in der Post und die Anbringung war total easy. Meine Kopfhörer sind jetzt wieder wie Neu und ich kann diese Ersatzposter absolut empfehlen.

Realmente Excelente, Los Parrot son una barbaridad de Headset y una pena que se desgaste tanto, sin embargo han vuelto a la vida. Buena calidad y además tienen videos con instrucciones.
